    I got a silver one, my debit card has been charged. When I load another one into my cart it says I reached my household limit so I think I am good.....However it doesn’t show up in my order history nor have I gotten the confirmation email.
    We’ll see.....

    Their Cloudflare security has basically screwed everyone over. You go through the Captcha and then it gives you an Error 1015 saying you're temporarily banned from the site.

    Only tried to get the gold, banned crashed like everyone else, got it in my cart, but could never get to confirmation. Did go back and after 30 attempts or so, I did get a silver at about 12:25. Surprised it was still around, but I'm sure it was only because of crashing and banning everyone earlier

    Tried for the gold but only got silver. I was a nervous wreck trying to get the order in. I was luck to get the silver,

    On my you slide down the shade from the top of the phone and toggle the wireless off. That puts you on cell phone data. Then go into the Mint site and log in and try to buy the coin.

    It's incredible that anyone got anything,

    I figured out how to do the different IP address thing. Got timed out again. Seems the time out lasts a while.

    The time out makes no sense as long as you can verify you're human.

    Maybe the Mint should have used Fastly. Full disclosure, I own both stocks though.

    I got that banned, too.

    Too many failed refreshes due to their failed web ordering system that could not process my credit card numerous times to the point of being "rate limited" ????

    The numismatic media should look into this.

    I downloaded Firefox and was able to get in and bypass the Ban, albeit after messing around with multiple refreshes. The Gold shows Sold Out.

    I'll be darned if I understand how 1945 people got in to get one of these, with the website screwed up this badly.


    Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...

    You guys who even got the silver are so lucky. I try with different IP addresses, waste all this time, just get banned and it lasts longer than a minute for sure.

    I managed to get the Silver V WWII coin. The site locked out my first 2 computers where I had the gold. I am happy with my efforts.

    I was on the page with the coin and at 11 started refreshing. Maybe the 3rd time the page loaded and I added it to the bag. Nothing happened for maybe 20 seconds and then the checkout box popped up. From there it took a bit at each step, but didn’t freeze, and I didn’t try to refresh.

    Got the silver at least. Had the gold and was checking out when site crashed.



    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I have no idea how the Puzzle Palace, aka THE MINT. thought process, much less the catalog algorithm, works. My "Refresh" guess was just that, a wild a** guess.

    I did get what I wanted as posted much earlier, could have been the first order number posted,
    USM081030XX at the 8 minute mark. Stomach turning ordeal for sure.

    Remember the Mayflower releases on 11/17. A repeat of today? I don't thing so as it won't be as popular as today's ASE. At least I hope not.
