they are missing a sale of the v75 AGE from 12/21
I looked back on the thread here and I see there were a couple of blip sightings but no one claimed snagging one. You commented that a friend had snagged a non-V75 the Friday previous but I don't see any reference here that one was snagged on 12/21.

It ‘twas. Shipped a few weeks later.
Makes me wonder how accurate the mints data is. I knew they were off a day as they had the big sale date on 11/4 instead of 11/5. After that adjustment the big dates seemed to coincide with the posts here.
I'm proud to say that my "snag" in December went to our hosts and like most, got a 70, but was not First Strike eligible. I plan to keep it forever, and it will always have a good story to go with it...........

You have to wonder- who and why would anyone return the AGE V75? Even if it were damaged somehow. Would you still return it?! Seriously?! At the very least, put it on the BST and see if anyone would be interested. You could add a few pictures so there is disclosure. But return it... nope!

I still remember that Sunday morning in late November of 2020, where I actually had the v75 gold eagle in my cart but instead of going with my memory, I opened my wallet to confirm the 3 digit code. The time it took my to verify what was already in my head, the gold piece was sold out. I believe there was something like 7 available that morning, I was so close to striking gold and so very bummed out.
You should send it in for the simple reason of preserving the coin. ASEs are prone to spots and haze. Getting it in a holder with help preserve it, But not a guarantee. As far as the grade, 69, maybe a 70.

Am still on the fence wondering if I should send it in to our hosts.
