Local card shop. The most entertaining $5 I’ve ever spent
1990 score was the first set I ever bought. Great selection of cards there!
This was the first box I had ever bought of 90 score, but I figured the risk was very low at $5 a box and it was a lot of fun. So IMO Low risk , High reward

Cooperstown Bat Co. had a sale on bat racks.
I like that this takes up very little real estate, yet, hold 10 bats.
Nice rack Mike. Always wanted to say that 😄 in all seriousness that is a beauty, and saw it this summer when I was on vacation in Cooperstown at one of their shops. Really nice pickup.
I picked up this 1980 Liberty Matchbook of Yaz. I already have a red one currently at PSA, but this one is nicer. Scanned in its sleeve as I didn't want to handle it unnecessarily.

I really love that one. I didn't know this existed. Oddball stuff like that has always thrilled me.

Thanks! It exists in 10 colors, as do the other athletes in the set.

Awesome pickup! Are you going to send this one in too?
Picked up these two, I've been trying to get these both for years and always got outbid. I made sure that didn't happen tonight:
And added another Roy Chrome reprint auto, this one the OPC version (previous 2 I've gotten are Topps reprints):

1939 Peter the Pilot card book with Joe Louis inside. This card is extremely hard to find, especially in it's original album. The album was made by Timaru Milling Co.
You can see Joe on the left page, 2nd row. Hey Joe, buddy, I'll have your room ready for you when you get here!

Question, would you consider a card graded as “authentic “ part of a grade run like the one I am working on? Working on the PSA 1 to PSA 10 run.
Great looking 8.5! I would not consider Auth as part of a grade run personally, registry equivalent is same as a 1 and a 1 is easy enough to create with a pin.
This 9 cartoon panel came from the 1989 Guernsey Auction of Topps "file" items.
The panel is approximately 11X14"
Of coincidence?
I have only 2 graded 69T cards and one of them happens to be the Morgan that's on the lower right side.
The artwork comes from the cards of Willie Davis, Tommy Helms, Jack Billingham, Mel Queen, Bill Monbouquette, Paul Popovich, Maury Wills, Luke Walker and Joe Morgan (HOF).

12th Card for my 89 UD Griffey PSA rainbow. I am working on an image showing all 12 cards.
I'm doing the same thing with Roger Staubach's rookie, but only going up to PSA 8. I didn't originally plan on getting an authentic but then one popped up on eBay so I grabbed it. I really like that it's part of the set. I didn't originally do half grades but now that I'm finished with Authentic through 8 I have decided to look for them. I've also got a PSA/DNA autograph. Fun project, would love to see a photo of them all together.
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach

Needs a better flip like 1980 Star Wars-Burger King; otherwise it seems like Luke Skywalkers’ dad is also the Home of the Whopper!

Thanx Keith.
How ya doing buddy?
'90 Score boxes have a really high fun-to-investment ratio. The cards are nearly worthless, but there is some really cool stuff in that set.
Nice Lott!!! No smudge!
Holy mackerel. I could stare at that one for a while!
You can even see his Herpes sore very clearly
Great cards everyone!
Here are the rest of the pickups for my basic set. in no particular order.

Wow, those four are SICK.
These arrived in the last couple weeks. The 1970s are for my 70 HOF and All Star subsets. All others are additions to my collection
Thanks! The 97 Bowman is unique, not too may with Jr bunting.

Highest scoring World Series game thanks to Lenny Dykstra mis-playing Devon White’s two-run fly ball that was scored a triple.

Exact thing I said
Wait... Who is smudge??
The Ronnie Lott RC is often marred by a smudge that runs vertically through the helmet. See supposed 10s with it all the time.
With the 10% day - this was an impulse buy.
Don't have a graded RC of Sosa.
Man, 1990 Leaf was a game changer. Loved it way back when and still do. Nice Sosa.

That's a great pose of a very happy Mick.

Card from my "kid years" collection back from re-holdering. Pulled from a pack when I was 11.
Will there ever be a PSA 10? Would love to see one.
