Phone calls to our host’s CS always come out great for myself. Glad it did for you, too. At least there is no cost to you, except gas to/from PO, and the time to/from PO. Maybe some $ if you already got someone lined up to take the Kennedy’s off your hand.
I had mech error reholder (cracked slab on a PF Pd) and the time in USPS transit (priority mail) was far longer than the time for the reholder to be completed. The PCGS insurance covered it both ways so that relieved some of the angst.

Had an extensive discussion with CS about the PL rocketship or not. Specifically said mine was a rocksetship non-PL at 69 and the other Kennedy was a 67PL. All is good.
Then I brought up another coin I had submitted... at least it’s genuine.
I’m on auto-pilot (enrollment) for the unc and it will be interesting to see what the coins look like.
Same (auto) with the silver set and Pres medal. My notice, that I pay attention to, was a CC hit.
The only thing I had to do physically, lately, was order the Apollo set from Royal Aussie Mint. Debating on ordering more. No HHL but ML is 10000. It’ll also be my first colorized coin.
But, I’m waiting for the Vet Medal set and Currency set.

I’ve had DHL. Ordered a laptop direct from Dell. Shipped from someplace in China. At least tracking was provided all the way and well packed. This was many years ago. Last laptop was in-store pickup (still made in China.)

If PL and not designated PL, shouldn't that bother us a bit. If so, they basically created the designation for the cardboard rocketship, not the coin.

I’ve sent an extra Kennedy’s with rocketships and all the Kennedy’s came back as rocketship Kennedy’s based upon what I put on the submission form.
What’s interesting is the AMF label is available for Kennedy’s if anyone wants the AMF “variety” of Kennedy. Ex: AMF Kennedy or AMF Rocketship Kennedy.

I guess I was thinking the Rocketship packaging was NOT Tamper proof. I thought it was possible to open the sticky flap, swap out the half dollar with one from the Uncirculated Mint Set, and then seal it back up.
I'm not really a "Label" Collector - so it doesn't matter to me if it came from the Rocketship or the Uncirculated Mint set (or whatever else set includes a Kennedy Half with an Uncirculated Finish). I was just curious if you sent the TPG a single Rocketship Set (not in the US Mint Sealed Shipping Box), how can the TPG know with 100% Certainty that the Half Dollar was the original Half and not one that came from a different set...
