USMarine6 - I think there are a lot a good looking coins in 62 holders, ones with more appeal than MS64's. Thanks for posting yours.

Mike - Good timing on nice coins.

Since Vern missed the AM posting, I guess I'll post this one. PC53 from my collection:

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

Voyageur - What a nice orig coin, with a bonus.

Cary - Thanks for filling in, and with a beauty. Hope there might be another to come.

Voyageur - nice 1853 cud - thanks for sharing.
I also like how the corresponding obverse dentils are missing.

"This Cud is for you" with apologies to Budweiser...

    Hey Voyageur,
I'm guessing this coin isn't slabbed. I'm sure you noticed, but it appears there is some active PVC on the coin by stars 9 and 10 on the obverse, and on the reverse on the denticles between the "E" and "D" in UNITED and on the leaf stem between the "D" in UNITED and the "H" in HALF. A quick dip in acetone, or some lightly applied with a q-tip in those areas would remove the green and get rid of the remaining PVC.

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

No post from Vern this morning so I guess I'll post another coin from my collection. This coin resides in one of those small "old style" ANACS holders (graded AU50):

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

Doug - Congratulations on the good looking 70-CC newp. Down to 1 now. Look forward to seeing it in hand, shortly.

Cary - Good looking '50 half. Should I push my luck and ask for another?
