Mike Hayes ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !
Since Vern missed the AM posting, I guess I'll post this one. PC53 from my collection:
My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

Hey Voyageur,
I'm guessing this coin isn't slabbed. I'm sure you noticed, but it appears there is some active PVC on the coin by stars 9 and 10 on the obverse, and on the reverse on the denticles between the "E" and "D" in UNITED and on the leaf stem between the "D" in UNITED and the "H" in HALF. A quick dip in acetone, or some lightly applied with a q-tip in those areas would remove the green and get rid of the remaining PVC.

No post from Vern this morning so I guess I'll post another coin from my collection. This coin resides in one of those small "old style" ANACS holders (graded AU50):
