It's been a good while since I've added a Brown Gem early S-mint to our set so I was glad to find this one which is CAC to boot! 1918-S MS65BN PCGS CAC
Bought this one a few days ago, PR64BN. It's the third proof 1942 toned Lincoln that I've had, and because I already have a PR65BN, I'm going to be reselling this one.
I've been focusing a lot on my mirror proof set registry lately, here's two that I bought recently:
1967 SP66RB - pop 38/27 (still debating whether I should keep it or try to find a higher rated one)
1981 S PR66RB - pop 2/12
1938-S MS65BN PCGS
I'm so old, even my dirt remembers when the 1938-S and 1939-D were among the most difficult of the post-1934 issues to find in circulation for everyone's little blue Whitman folders (pretty sure those cost 35 cents per book back then). This one is another upgrade to our Toned Wheat Cents Registry Set, replacing a 1938-S/S/S in MS65RB that I was using as a "placeholder" until I could snag a nicely toned Brown example.
In hand all six of these coins have mirrored fields and frosted devices under the toning. None of them received a Cameo designation (due to PCGS position that it will award a Cameo designation only on RD copper) since they all graded RB (5 coins) or BN (the multicolored 1950 cent is in a genuine holder due to QC and is deemed BN by our host).

We're all still learning. Yes, it has some colors that many/most of us would call toning. Some others would call it tarnish as they like their coins with little/no color. The gray/black (if indeed that is black at the upper obverse rim; the photo makes it hard to tell) would remove this one in a lot of collectors' minds from the "attractive toning" camp.
Interesting to see how the design, detail, and strike changed throughout the Lincoln Proof series. This starts with the Matte Proof Lincoln and goes into the early 2010's. The actual dates are 1915, 1941, 1951, 1955, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1988, 2004, and 2011. These are all PCGS graded problem free lincolns and the images are all PCGS TrueView photos.

Seller Pics ... This Is An Example of Die Pair 1: First T in TRUST Is Smaller and More Distinct Than Remaining Letters ... Second 2 in Date Is Weaker Than First 2. This Would Later Degenerate (Multiple Times?) Into the No D/Weak D Variant. Note the Reverse Jogging Die Crack From L in PLURIBUS Down Through O in ONE, Other Cracks at Rim at 9 O'Clock, 2 O'Clock, Tiny Crack Paralleling Rim Through RIBUS. So Much Major Coolness That the Small Spot of Verdigris Between L and U (Almost!) Doesn't Bother Me. Die Pair 2 is the Traditional No D/ Strong Reverse Die Pair ... Three Die Pairs Are Known. This Reverse Die (and Die Pair 3) Likely Got Polished Later To Remove the Die Cracks, Producing the No D-Weak D/Mushy Reverse Effects. Pop 22/2 at PCGS
My latest purchase, a PR64BN 1956! Pop 3, 6 higher. I've been trying to track this coin down for a while now, and just a few days ago it finally came to me.

I actually think the reverse die is showing die erosion/fatigue rather than clashing, but agree otherwise!

Freshly graded toned Proofs (Still waiting on Trueviews of some toned MS Lincoln cents to pop. When they do I will post them here).
Your thoughts?

@SanctionII, I love how the toning on the second 1950 seems to make Lincoln pop right off of the coin.

Thank you for the input
The picture is not very good
But the coin appears more blue/green ? Color if that makes sense
