There are a lot of us who loved Toned Lincolns, whether they are certified Red, Red and Brown, or Brown. Post some of yours!
I'll start with a couple that are no longer with us, but we were glad to have them for a short while!
This 1924-D in MS65 Brown PCGS was the nicest one we have ever handled.
1909 VDB in MS67 Red and Brown. The Trueview pretty much speaks for itself.
Both of these are in a fine Toned Lincolns Registry Set.
Kind regards,
George

@lusterlover As a lifelong Lincoln cent lover (there's yer alliteration for the day) I have to say that the 1934-D is one of my favorite Lincoln cent issues ... I guess because they all have that massive D mintmark punched so close to the date (is that punch new that year?) and its proximity is emphasized by the long 3 digit, completely unlike the 3 digits of the previous few years and one that would not reappear until the famous 1943 cents.
Anyway.
Here are 1933 and 1934 cents for ogling, admiration, and date comparison.

If it weren't for the carbon spots, this 34-D DDO would be one of my favorite coins. As is, I still love it, spots and all!

@dedalus_57645 cool DDO! @robec love the color on that 1933! (Well, I love the 1932–33 issues a lot anyway.)

Wow @abescoloringbook quite some nice Lincoln Wheaties you have there! Thanks for sharing.
Maybe I will see some "old friends" on this thread.

Very nice. So...I'd love to hear opinions; does "toning" add value to coins that don't have significant premium?

eBay last night. 65RB. I really like 1949-S cents since it's my birth year ... and I'm old enough to remember when the keys to the second Whitman folder were the 49-S, 54 plain and 55-S.
Sometimes it's fun to have a cheap date.
Kind regards,
George
I wonder why there are just so many fantastically toned 1957-D Wheat cents around everywhere. Yeah, mint set toning would account for some of that, and there are a lot of nicely toned 1957-D Franklin halves and other members of the set to support that theory as well. But not all, to my mind. Anyone have another idea?
Kind regards,
George
