I started a Certified Lincoln Cents group on MyCollect if some of y'all would like to join. No parking lot roadkill, no PMD "errors" or "what is this raw circulated cent worth" nonsense, just PCGS, NGC, CACG, and ANACS certified Lincolns. Check it out! Thanks and kind regards, George

I have two eye appealing 1957 D toned (from a double mint set) cents at PCGS being graded and photographed. They both went from grading to encapsulation today. Thus they are close to being returned.
When photos post of these coins I will post them to this thread.
Here is a toned Lincoln, recently graded MS63BN, that I have had since 1967 or 1968 after pulling it from pocket change.
I call it Smoke On The Water......................................, since it is "Deep Purple" (in hand the coin is dark purple with luster under the toning).

Nice 67! I plan on selling all of my cents one day when I can motivate myself to do it. You should buy my 67 too. Hahahaha
18 coins to go to complete Brown Wheaties set #2! Only a couple of tough early S-mints among them, but several of those post-1933 dates are a lot tougher than one might think!
I was thrilled to get this ex-Alan Epstein, ex-Shapiro Raisinet Monster Toned 1912 MPL from the Jan 10-14 Heritage auction. I’ve been drooling over this one for the last 15 years.
@robec Congrats, Bob. I can see why you have drooled over that for the last 15 years. WOW, that’s a looong time. It’s awesome when long-term goals can come together. Happy for ya!

I agree it has the look of a 67. I’m thinking of going the Reconsideration route……I’ve had some luck going this way. It hasn’t seen a grading room for at least 15 years. You won’t find many MPLs with cleaner fields.
I’ve had this one for years but finally regraded it hoping it might go 65, but mostly for the TrueView. The color is even brighter in hand, especially the reverse.

Unfortunately this cent does not have a True View photo. It is a stunner in hand, with multi colored toning and a Cameo appearance.
