I agree on Michigan. They might be going off of the fact that they have a super hard schedule this year and two losses could still possibly get them in if thinks break the right way. They have Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State on the road and PSU and Wisconsin at home. That could be a more then two losses for sure. Heck I’m worried about Western Michigan at home. Also worried about a Scott Frost Nebraska team. I guess after last year I’m worried about everyone

I think this is wrong because everybody knows Ohio State is THE best team of all time and is always favored to win the national championship and whatever else one can be favored in. #fakenews

No one in Michigan wants to say it but I wonder if Harbaugh is better made for the NFL. He has done well at Michigan but still come up short of as advertised.
As for these odds, TCU probably has one of the three or four best coaches in the country and the Horned Frogs don't make the list.

The Horned Frogs could play themselves right into it with a win at home vs Ohio State in September

Where is UCF, last yeas champion?

    My Top 5
    1. Bama
    2. Clemson
    3. Penn State
    4. Oklahoma
    5. Wisconsin

Michigan will easily have 3-5 losses. I doubt any team in the country could go undefeated with that schedule.

IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED

I went last night at Staples Center in LA. It was electrifying. Probably 16,000 Michigan fans, 3,000 neutral and 1,000 FSU fans. I enjoyed it.

the "Irish" sort of keep themselves away from the party by foolishly remaining an Independent. as long as they aren't in a Conference they are forced to run the table in a convincing way and going through the season now-a-days is almost an impossibility.

Bama is trying to schedule a home and home against Notre Dame and Texas.

In other football news....what the heck is going on at Georgia with the hidden cameras..... :o

11 of the last 16 national championships have been won by former Bruce assistants. Nick Saban was an assistant on Bruce's staff from 1980-81, Pete Carroll coached the secondary in 1979, Jim Tressel coached quarterbacks and wide receivers from 1983-85 and Urban Meyer served two years as a graduate assistant in 1986-87.

That would take him through his 74th birthday, I hope he makes it. He's very active and says he wants to coach as long as he can. He also said if the program started to decline he would step down,

Northwestern has the longest current win streak among the power five.(8 games)
The BIG TEN conference has led all conferences for the most academic all-Americans, for 13 straight seasons.

Bama started practicing today and most other teams will be practicing by next week. I'll make my TOP TEN LIST later on.

First weeks games, teams that actually play a real football team.

    Bama vs Louisville
    Auburn vs Washington
    LSU vs Miami
    Tenn. vs W. Virginia
    Ole Miss vs Texas Tech
    Michigan vs Notre Dame
    VT vs FSU

    At least Michigan has some.

Lamar Jackson left early for the pros. What do you think the point spread would be if he had been with Louisville this year?

I bet OSU beats Oregon, I mean Oregon State by 7 td's.

Garnett, who you got, ND or TTUN.

Hard to believe that Scott Frost had his home burglarized and a lot of his former Nebraska things were stolen. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Nebraska does this year. Can Scott Frost turn it around at Nebraska quickly, or will it take some time. Will be interesting to watch as he has much stiffer competition to deal with, but make no mistake, this years Nebraska team will be as tough as they've been in a long time.

It will take some time. The BIG 10 west division has gotten stronger the last few years, with Wisconsin leading the pack.

Going to be tough for Bama to reach the playoffs this year. Had to replace most of the defense and have 6 new coaches. If they can get by Louisville and A&M in September they'll have a shot. Georgia is loaded and hungry. OSU will use "us against the world" and should win the Big 10. Clemson is Clemson, they'll be very good. Auburn, Wisconsin and Oklahoma will also challenge....jmo

    My final 4 picks:
    1. Bama
    2. Clemson
    3. OSU
    4. Georgia
