Where Did you get that Mark? That would have the Engelhard site salivating I'm sure. That is a an awesome hunk of gold. Pick it up in MC? Is it a newp.? That's a keeper for sure. Jealous

Here's where I'm at so far. I'm one of the few (it seems) that likes the Liberty Head design better than all the same denom counterparts. $10 libs are my favorite.
The 1886-S half eagle is a "widget" althogh at first glance it appear to be an exotic date and mint combination. The grade is MS-64.
This 1846-O half eagle is anything but a "widget." The NGC grade is MS-61, and I agree with it. As usual my photo makes the marks look bigger than they are.

I really enjoy these gold threads..... just my favorite coin metal..... @Twobitcollector... That '09D $5 is nice ... I have one... raw.... looks to be a similar grade... @spacehayduke.... Looking at your '57D quarter eagle, it appears the feather of the arrow appears in the center of the D.... or is that a die chip?
