Agree with everyone that the Mattingly is incredible. Do love that card.

Also enjoyed seeing the piece on your work in The Card Life show. Have to believe that was you and not too many can duplicate this kind of work.

That 87 Topps Bo Jackson is off the chain! I bet the shading and background on that card presented some serious challenges. You captured it perfectly. Simply outstanding!

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of the fencing. It doesn't really scream "chainlink" but I feel it works given the material and style I use. Really appreciate the kind words!

Is the '56 Aaron a "White" or "Gray" back? Askin' for a friend. ;)
Your art is truly breath taking. A true genius.

Pretty much, yes. I try to keep them close to 22" x 28". The modern 2.5" x 3.5" cards are scaled up to 20" x 28" works of art. Everything is relative to the original card size, so tobacco cards are scaled up to 16" x 29". Goudey/1948 Leaf cards are shorter but wider.

Hey, man. Those are beautiful. The only thing I'd suggest you change is that when you do one from the 70s it has to be way off-centered. Only then would I truly believe it to be a true replica. :D

Your work is fantastic! One can even seen the pieces of the faces of players from the cards you cut up embedded in the final product. I can see why you quit your former job to this. It must be extremely time consuming!

    Curious about your process.

How long does it take to do one of these? I'm sure it varies a little depending on size and complexity.
Do you just work on one at a time or have multiple going at once?

Are you able to sell these and/or have museums display them? I mean these could be six-figure masterpieces...especially considering some of the weird things that for whatever reason are considered six-seven figure "art".
