As frequently is the case with medals, someone, in the past, cleaned the heck out of this one. However, the cleaning does not get into the details, apparently, and here is the result.

Probably my favorite birth year coin in my collection... 1969 wasn't exactly the most interesting to assemble a birth year collection! Here is some wild toning on an otherwise common modern foreign proof. Minted @ San Francisco on behalf of Liberia. PCGS PR65.
I am going to try and resurrect this thread again.
Here is a new win from the HA at CCE. Top pictures are from HA, and the bottom ones are in hand from my iPhone. It's dark, but great surfaces and color with a slight tilt. Any other new toners out there???
This is one of those that would look so good as an animated gif. My still photos just cannot capture the flashiness of the fields. It came from Stacks last week, accompanied by a sales tag from another auction...in 1996, which predates the PCGS slab by more than a few years.
1895/3 Ga JS Mexico 8R NGC MS64 from the Stacks Bowers sale last week. PCGS hasn't graded any of the overdates while NGC has seen three, with two in 64 and one in 65. The overdate is rare per Dunigan & Parker.

Love the colour on this Mexican peso. The picture does not do it justice.
Sold but not forgotten.

This one is just a cheapo AU, but I liked the toning.

I couldn’t resist the toning on this one!
I saw that one and thought it was gorgeous! I almost purchased it, too, but went in another direction. Enjoy it!

The colors on the actual coin are more pastel than in the Trueview, but even so it is a gorgeous example of "la Semeuse."
Kind regards,

Part of a recent purchase. The other two coins are pretty close to blast white.
I need more work on my lighting skills/angles. This is a nice new one too:
I'm just missing somehow on the look. These were my quickie full slab shots:
