Out of curiosity I went to see if PCGS had a Registry Set with the 1894 S Dime included. There is a single set with the '94 S, and only one set that's 100% complete (it include a Proof 63 '94 S). Guess who's it is?

The last hole in my Barber Dime set has been filled, now the set is complete. Finished, no.
Congratulations Jeff! Remind me again... show us the '94-S? In all seriousness, great job!
Wow Jeff, that is a seriously nice coin. I agree with Frank. Getting a '96-S dime at all is great. Getting one that is halfway decent, or even nice like yours, is a rare feat. Congratulations!

Back in July I purchased 2 nice 1907 Quarters; one in a NGC AU 58 holder and the other raw. The NGC coin was cracked out of the holder; both were submitted raw to PCGS in August. They returned from PCGS yesterday- both as AU 58's. I don't need both, so I'll seel one. I won't post the photos of that one.
Here's the 1907 PC AU 58 I elected to keep for my set:

Many CoinFacts Guide improved valuations for Barber Dimes today. Go out and take a look. On top is the 1896-S 10C in PC58 going from $750 to $1100 (46.7% improvement). Some lower grade common P-mints went down a little bit.

Okay, I admit it:
I can't finds the CoinFacts Guide.
I picked up a couple of 1909 P mint Barber Quarters in July; one in a NGC AU 58 holder and the other raw. Both of them were sent to PCGS for grading and returned last week.
The raw one came back as a PC AU 58:

The one cracked out of the NGC AU 58 holder came back as a PC MS 62:

It seems there's a thread of difference between an AU 58 and a MS 62 in the grading room.
<
This is a common date, but both have earned top spot in my Quarter collections (Everyman and MS) so neither are for sale. There are no posting violations. I sure wish I could "Buy a Vowel" with these coins (an "O").

Here is a newp that arrived just this afternoon. You may know of the 1892-O Barber Quarter variety for Clashed Dies 901. Our hosts don't recognize the 1893-O Barber Quarter Clashed Dies however. The new PC58 1893-O BQ is Clashed Dies. Notice even the incuse-looking star close-up just behind the neck. Many spots on the reverse as well:

I've been looking for an upgrade for my PC AU 53 1907 D Quarter for quite a while. For whatever reason it's a very tough date to find in AU (perhaps XF as well). The mintage is on the low side and the Pop Counts reflect that, but it's been more elusive for me than the numbers would indicate. Then last week an AU 58 came up for sale and I jumped on it:
<
<
I know it's too shiny for most, but I like it and I can cross the hunt for that one off my list. Now to focus on other prey....
<
To reinforce the thought on scarcity of the '07 D Quarter I placed my AU 53 for sale on eBay last night; it's already sold.
BTW, all my PC submissions are delaying past turnaround times. I hear they got slammed with submissions... most likely the 2021 Silver Dollars that are now just getting delivered.

This one hasn't made the trip to the Bean Factory- I'm not a CAC member and they won't let me become one. I'm not sure how to crack that nut; does one need to go through a dealer to submit?

I had to wait a bit until it opened up to add more people. It was a waiting list thing. Can you call to ask to be added to a waiting list? and to let you know when adding more members is allowed? As an option Jeff, I would be willing to submit for you if you want. - Tim

That looks like a nice XF '96S Dime; one would think it should be housed in a graded holder (or album)? Keith prefers 2X2 holders?
