Two additions today. A nice 1983 Topps Tony Dorsett and a 2008 Topps Rookie Premiere Felix Jones auto. I actually have the 2008 slot for Jones already covered but I couldn't pass this one up for $7.99 shipped.
Segway. Dan's Gino coin inspried me to dig up some old Emmitt Smith 1997 Playoff chip shots. I have two slabbed by PSA and the others I slabbed myself using coin slabs and homemade flips.
The first two coins below are dups of the two above PSA slabbed versions. Playoff First & Ten Chip Shots had a yellow, greeen and red variation as seen below.
The next tree are 1997 Playoff Absolute Chip Shots. The difference being the background color behind the player image. The first and ten chips have a white circle the Absolute chips have a silver circle as well as silver along the coin's edge.
The Absolute chips come in three variations. They are, red, black and blue.
AWESOME additions Matt. I enjoy following your thread. Keep it up.
STAY HEALTHY!

Neat stuff. The stained glass one reminds me of the 2000 Skybox Sunday's Best card, where it shows him in front of a stained glass window (presumably, a church window).
I have a 1995 Collectors Edge Sunday Ticket Timewarp with Marshall Faulk and Dick Butkus. Looks like this one:

This thread reminded me of the guy that would come on every 3 months and start a new thread asking what the best Felix Jones rookie was. If you want a quick chuckle, do a forum search for 'Felix Jones'.

I forgot about that guy. Six threads all about the same thing. Good times lol!

Even better: if you search "Felix" you get about a thousand Felix Potvin threads from late 2009
Matt, I finally looked through your slide show, you've done a great job with it. I think the 78 Preston Pearson is my favorite, followed by the 79 Dorsett (not sure why, that card just looks sweet to me). I actually like all of the Dorsetts.
I always envy your focus and organization, one of these days I will get there.
Congrats on the addition Matt. Your project is coming along very well.

Thank you for the kind words Tom and Doug. I think the best part of doing a set like this, besides the search, is sharing it with people that can appreciate it.
Even if they don't like the team or players, it's nice to know that people care enough comment.

I agree. That's the best part of these boards. I know nobody gives a rat's @$$ about cappelletti or raw mid grade andre tippett commons. But I appreciate that people look anyway and hopefully some of them learn something about an underrated player, or an oddball set they never heard of, or printing idiosyncrasies of certain mainstream vintage sets.
I have to ask.....your top 5 fav Cowboys of all time? >>
Hmmm, that's hard. There have been so many great players over the years. I've been a fan since I was a child during the late 70's but my absolute best time was the 90's for obvious reasons. I will only pick from the players I had the pleasure of watching play.
1. Emmitt Smith 2. Darren Woodson 3. Tony Dorsett 4. Troy Aikman 5. Too Tall Jones
