In 1 on my mini boxes I did get a Brett that graded an 8. I also scored about 30 cards tha graded an 8 - minor stars and commons. No Aaron, Ryan or Yount in either of my 2 mini boxes.

Never an unopened collector myself, but I LOVED watching the group breaks from BBCE back in the day. the excitement was palpable. I miss those days.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I don't see much 1970's on their web site these days. I remember joining this group around 2012 and doing the BBCE rips. Some great stuff at affordable prices. Here are some of my 2012 group rip prices according to my records (all baseball):
    77T wax $27.78
    78T wax $16.25
    79T wax $11.25
    80T cello $15
    84T wax box $40
    85F cello box $84.38
    76 OPC wax $37
    77 OPC wax $16
All the packs were opened by me but I resold the boxes after a year or so. Fun times back then!

Holy cow, that's amazing that BBCE once had a 76 OPC wax box. I don't think I have ever even seen a wax pack from that year.

I’m sure it’s easily findable by search but that ‘55T wax pack rip thread where the member got two Clemente RCs (and possibly a Mays or something?) - epic

I bought something from them that wasn't even on their website. Kinda strange as it was a high priced wax pack and found it browsing the web. But I last bought something from their web store 4 months ago and that was the last 70's baseball wax pack graded they had that's not an OPeeCee. Don't know why.. Either they don't have any or don't want to deal with them as auctions and eBay have taken precedent.

Just went back and looked at a 2013 BBCE rip i took part in and bought some 80s packs for ripping. Wish early 80s wax was still this cheap. At these prices it was doable to have fun ripping. Now some of these are $10-30 per pack.

2 1981 topps baseball wax pack- $2.50 each
2 1982 donruss baseball wax pack- $1.63 per pack
2 1982 fleer baseball wax pack- $1.88 per pack
2 1982 topps baseball wax pack- $3.50 per pack
2 1983 donruss baseball wax pack- $1.88 per pack
2 1983 fleer baseball wax pack- $1.88 per pack
2 1983 topps baseball wax pack- $3.50 per pack
1 1984 donruss baseball wax pack- $5.75 per pack
2 1989 UD low series baseball packs- $2.25 per pack

    What I Collect:

PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.16% Complete)

Sorry, I was full of ** you know what, it was one Clemente RC and (edit - 2X) Mays. I thought he had two packs. Wish the images were still up!

Edit - without the images but parsing through the comments, it was 2 Mays and 1 Clemente.

If my memory serves me well…the ‘55 Clemente RC was initially graded a PSA-7. It was auctioned off…and won by Jeff Foy who submitted the card for review…and it came back a PSA-7.5

Boy, I miss the days of $28 1975 mini wax packs!

John, that 76 Seaver cello is magnificent!

I still have a 75 rack with Brett on top that I purchased from BBCE back in 2011 for $350. I should have bought a lot more! :D

    Grote…

How centered is the Brett showing on the rack?

Pretty decent (about 65/35) and sharp with no loader marks. I got a rack with Ryan on top also for the same price in that same purchase. Back then, common 1975 racks were about $125 each.
