When a set is being built, do reprints count? Kinda takes the fun out of this I think. Originals are what makes this fun and unique.

Anywho -This has to be one of the top 3 threads on the forum. Absolutely Brilliant. Keep it going guys! I want to see this set finished.

Over a half century in baseball! What a rookie year for a 33 year old pitcher! Led the league in saves his last year of pitching then retired to become manager. Yankees pitching coach for over ten seasons. What a card to have!

Thanks guys...

I am working on this set and am about 80% complete on both low and high numbers. My low numbers are all 6/7s and most of my highs are 4 to 6s. I look for well centered cards and pick my spots by not overpaying. Have had a lot of luck with off line deals with various other collectors.

If anyone is working on this set, I have about 20 doubles to trade or sell.
