I got this card in the mail today. I am really pleased with it. The card has a deep ding on the lower left corner but looks great otherwise with great picture quality and centering. A perfect card for an Andre buyer on a budget.
Definitely not what I was hoping for both on grades and time. I had a bad feeling about this sub after it was taking so long that a let down was coming and it came. Oh well I guess on the bright side I didn't make two of my Pop 1's Pop 2's.

Thank you. I recently purchased a 1982 A set with high hopes for this Andre and a few of the other cards in the set.
The picture used for the Dibiase card might be as early as 1976. The photo of Lawler was taken by Jim Cornette February 9th 1981 before his match against Hulk Hogan at the Mid South Colosseum.
Just got these this morning. This is the nicest raw Hogan I have ever gotten. The corners are absolutely blazing on it. The Andre has tremendous surface and a little OC and the corners look better in hand then in this scan. The bottom left is definitely touched.
I was at the pool Sunday partying but always make time for a quick EBAY search and found a set listed and the Hogan was the nicest card in the lot. Sent an offer I thought would get turned down and it was accepted. These are definitely making a trip to CA!
Very interesting morning on Twitter. Jeff aka Pack Geek @Big80s in his recent episode had a guest on from the recent Dallas card show who goes by Beans Ballcard Blog and they mentioned the colorful wrestling cards. Someone on Twitter responded and it turns out their family owned the printing shop that printed the cards. Hoping for some solid info to come from this connection!

I bought a nice 1982 B set and the 1983 set and the cards are sharp, but off-centered as they often seem to be...with your cards you submitted, were you expecting any 9's or were you just looking for 8's? I am just wondering how many I should be submitting if 8's were what I would get too? I'd be looking to sell them once our lives are back to some sort of normalcy and the economy stabilizes...thx

Thanks much for your input...I have a handful in the 1982 B set that just may be 9s...I got the cards in album pages and they look as if they have been there since they were maybe put there back in 1982 and not moved since...
I just uploaded my cards from this submission and I realized I was able to upgrade my set #8 to a GPA of 8.01%. Pleased to have 8 complete graded sets at NM-MT or higher.
I was at my wife's mothers house yesterday just chilling on the couch and doing my standard check EBAY searches for PSA Wrestling and Wrestling All Stars and came across this set. It took me all of 45 seconds to look at it and pull the trigger.
The Hogan has some of the best centering I have ever seen on one and the set looks sharp. I have been emailing today with the seller and her husband worked for the print shop that made them. He used to have uncut sheets and threw them out!
I have been emailing back and forth with her with questions and she is going to get with him and I hope to hear back from her later today with any information on the production of the sets.
The cards I see have been shipped and I am very anxious to see these in hand.
I found it funny that this set was up for two hours and there were a total of 13 offers on it and none of them stepped up to the plate and pulled the trigger.
I recently bought a set from Canada of all three and have quite a few lined up to send in and so I am very hopeful they arrive safely. Very nice looking set in the pics!!!

Thank you. I recently purchased a 1982 A set with high hopes for this Andre and a few of the other cards in the set.
The picture used for the Dibiase card might be as early as 1976. The photo of Lawler was taken by Jim Cornette February 9th 1981 before his match against Hulk Hogan at the Mid South Colosseum.

The set came from Allentown, PA where the WWF taped so I think it was an original owner who opened them up right away so lots of sharp corners.
I have a handful in my slower service stack so overall very pleased with buying this set.

Just got these this morning. This is the nicest raw Hogan I have ever gotten. The corners are absolutely blazing on it. The Andre has tremendous surface and a little OC and the corners look better in hand then in this scan. The bottom left is definitely touched.
I was at the pool Sunday partying but always make time for a quick EBAY search and found a set listed and the Hogan was the nicest card in the lot. Sent an offer I thought would get turned down and it was accepted. These are definitely making a trip to CA!

Very interesting morning on Twitter. Jeff aka Pack Geek @Big80s in his recent episode had a guest on from the recent Dallas card show who goes by Beans Ballcard Blog and they mentioned the colorful wrestling cards. Someone on Twitter responded and it turns out their family owned the printing shop that printed the cards. Hoping for some solid info to come from this connection!

I bought a nice 1982 B set and the 1983 set and the cards are sharp, but off-centered as they often seem to be...with your cards you submitted, were you expecting any 9's or were you just looking for 8's? I am just wondering how many I should be submitting if 8's were what I would get too? I'd be looking to sell them once our lives are back to some sort of normalcy and the economy stabilizes...thx

I knew most of these were probably 8's at best but with the 82 A those are actually pretty solid grades and the values have come up a lot.
I wouldn't submit 83's looking for 8's at all in general. Maybe a couple of the major stars but certainly no bums.
The Strongbow was a big hit as it is a Pop 2. Only downside is I made my Pop 1 a Pop 2.
On the 82 B plenty of the bigger guys do well in an 8. I thought the Adonis was a 9 and why I submitted it. Not a waste of money but could one could probably sell it raw minus the grading fee for the same or higher.
The 2002 WWE Royal Rumble was where I was baffled. The 85 Topps are blazers but centering probably kept them from awarding a 10.

I just uploaded my cards from this submission and I realized I was able to upgrade my set #8 to a GPA of 8.01%. Pleased to have 8 complete graded sets at NM-MT or higher.
Down to four cards to complete my #10 set.

I was at my wife's mothers house yesterday just chilling on the couch and doing my standard check EBAY searches for PSA Wrestling and Wrestling All Stars and came across this set. It took me all of 45 seconds to look at it and pull the trigger.
The Hogan has some of the best centering I have ever seen on one and the set looks sharp. I have been emailing today with the seller and her husband worked for the print shop that made them. He used to have uncut sheets and threw them out!
I have been emailing back and forth with her with questions and she is going to get with him and I hope to hear back from her later today with any information on the production of the sets.
The cards I see have been shipped and I am very anxious to see these in hand.
I found it funny that this set was up for two hours and there were a total of 13 offers on it and none of them stepped up to the plate and pulled the trigger.
I recently bought a set from Canada of all three and have quite a few lined up to send in and so I am very hopeful they arrive safely. Very nice looking set in the pics!!!
