Thanks Bobby. Here are a bunch of 79's. I was very disappointed with the grade I got on the Ozzie pack as it is nicely centered, but had a small slit on one of the edges.

    Mike,
In cello pack grading, how much emphasis is placed on the condition of just the pack itself vs the condition/centering of the top card? Thanks.

Pack grading is based primarily on the condition of the pack itself--any rips, tears or splits, seal on back, and gum dust inside the cello--with less emphasis on centering of top card, though it is a factor. According to PSA guidelines, top card must be centered at least 80-20 or better for a PSA 9 grade, which is more lenient that for single card grading which requires 65-35 or better.

    Sharp packs, Mike!

    Thanks guys.

Yes, Tim is the expert regarding grading these packs. I thought that I'd get at least a PSA 6 on the 79 Ozzie Smith cello. It really displays beautiful in the holder though.

Mark, I thought you'd like the Rose twins.

Nice pack to start the 70's decade off with IMO.

    Hiya Mike

    What a superb pack!

I have a box of 76 and 77 OPC BB - was thinking about having them graded - but I doubt I'll ever get around to it. Boy am I lazy!

Always looking forward to your pickups!

BTW - I have a letter of intent on the buy of my office! I may be close - would make a great Xmas gift!

Once in a while I think about opening an entire vending case and see if I can put together a really nice set - but like sending packs for grading? I'm too lazy.

I do like the 76T Ryan cello!
