Always love seeing the '73's, especially the rack!! There's just something beautiful about the way those "ugly" reverse colors and that header play with the rods and cones. And the great Fisk spittoon issue to boot.
Yeah manny helped me out last week. It was my second to last in my "since 2000 HOF" rookie pack set. I should post scans one of these days, but care to guess what my last pack needed is?
Yes, that would be a tough pack and one that I don't have, but luckily Schmidt made the 1995 HOF class. Here is the list for the 21st century:
2000 Carlton fisk Tony Perez 2001 Dave Winfield Kirby Puckett 2002 Ozzie Smith 2003 Eddie Murray Garry Carter 2004 Paul Molitor Dennis Eckersly 2005 Wade Boggs Ryne Sandberg 2006 Bruce Sutter 2007 Cal Ripken Tony Gwynn 2008 Rich Gossage 2009 Ricky Henderson Jim Rice 2010 Andre Dawson 2011 Roberto Alomar Bert Blyleven 2012 Barry Larkin
Mike, I believe I may have the rest of that '73 cello box..

Mike I like you and dont want to see you get into any trouble with the fire marshall. You have too much cardboard, go ahead and send me half of it to avoid any problems

You better get in line Brian, but my wife probably agrees with you. She told me that if I go first, she'll have Mark organize one of his group breaks.

Just trying to get a head start on it......pro-active buddy. Besides, if I started selling your stuff via the group breaks, it will probably take me 25 years to complete.
Alright, I've neglected this thread long enough. Here are some recent pickups for your viewing pleasure.
I've been trying forever to get 24 1983 Donruss Rack Packs with the players showing on front. They are among the rarest of 1980's racks out there. I'm finally at 23, one more and I can call it a day.

Yeah Marc, you can't go wrong with Donnie Baseball.
Jeff, I actually have two different 1984 cellos with Mattingly showing along a few other duplicate star packs. But I was really excited to get those 1983 Donruss rack packs. They hardly ever come up on eBay.
Tony, between that 1984 Strawberry and the 1985 Gooden, those were my dream packs growing up.
