for those who are opening packages of this product, what are you going to collect. I will do the entire master set, maybe the chrome set and of course as many autographs as possible. If there are retail sets I will attempt those also.
For all you guys that purchase the Heritage product, I collect Ichiro Topps cards- all variations and varieties. When the time comes, I'll hit everyone up again to buy refractors and whatnot to avoid eBay....so this is just kinda a "hey, I'll buy your Ichiros when you get 'em!"
I just found this forum yesterday and I thought I would share. I've been sending out custom cards to be autographed for a couple of years now. Yesterday, I received an extra card back from Hal Naragon.
It is a "Player Sample" of his 2011 Topps Heritage card. I figured you guys would like to see what the cards look like. It was one of my best returns ever. I hope I uploaded the picture of the card correctly.
It's personally signed by Mr. Naragon. Again, I was thrilled with the return because I saw my two custom cards and then I saw this '62 card. And I thought that was odd because I didn't send him a '62.
Then it took me a few seconds to figure out what it was.
Yeah. So far I've not sold any autographs that I've received TTM or in person. But, in this case, I'll admit that I at least thought about it... for a couple of minutes anyway, but I've decided to keep it.
The card is beautiful though. I really like the way it looks. I'm not sure I can describe it accurately, but it has a certain lightness or warmth that the few '62's that I do have, don't have.... if that makes any sense.
The last I heard is Heritage is slated for on or about the 16th. I suspect that is correct as Topps is usually a Wednesday deliver.

Just got a request from Chris at Blowout for the balance payment on the case I ordered. Looks like we'll all be ripping next week! I'm just looking for the regular set and chromes, plus the ad panels. Refractors, autos, GU are all up for grabs, although I owe Craig some stuff for some sets he helped me finish up.
Anyone got any past years ad panels to trade/sell?

Brent and Becca are the ones who talked so much junk about me when I pulled the first Strasburg Ginter rookie on the market. I won't ever buy from them subsequently.
That GU is hideous. BB didn't tell me where he got heritage but in these parts the new cards come out on Friday. So it might be worth it to hit some retail haunts tomorrow. I wonder who are the 3 autos in the Topps 60th promotion?
I'm not a big fan of them either, love how they were to lazy to make there own image to sell stuff.....instead using the image I made to pre-sell a master set. They are pretty close to me and I've seen no retail, so either they have a connection with a retail distributor or there story is not entirely factual.
they still have last years Heritage at my local Target and Wal Mart. Is this years going to still be on shelves a year from now??? curious for advice from the Heritage collectors out there....should I get the boxes now or wait.
My dealer told me yesterday that one distributor told him that there was a delay in the product, and another distributor told him the first was full of it. He doesn't know which one to believe, and neither do I. There is nothing in NE OK that I know of yet.
I would repost the pics BB had up but the last time I visited it tried the install a virus on my computer....Ill hold out for something else. If you are on twitter you can see the pics if you add brentandbecca to your list.

I've never been a fan of '62 or '87 but after receiving this card I might be swayed into buying some of these.
Then it took me a few seconds to figure out what it was.
