<< <i>I'm kind of surprised at how little the stamps are bringing, am I the only one that think they are a really cool insert? >>
No, I like them too. Did you see the Jeter/Sandoval stamp on ebay. I almost pulled the trigger at $60 but decided to wait until I bust my boxes. I have been watching and noticed many are selling for $15-$20. I still would like to know if there are multiple stamps of players teamed up with different players. I have bid on quite a few but only have won one; still debating if I am going to try and put the set together.

That confirms it! That is exactly what I wanted to see. There are players teamed up with more than one player. Jeter has at least two stamps, one with Pujols and one with Sandoval.
Edited to say Jeter has at least two stamps!

The complete heritage checklist is up on beckett. You only have to type in 2010 Topps Heritage and then scroll through all the listings. It should be accurate as far as chromes, base and stamps go, but it still does list a few autos that haven't surfaced yet..Yaz and Musial.
guy on another board just busted 4 cases and only pulled 5 autos, 4 of them commons. He did pull a Mantle/Maris GU and a Ruth GU, but that is over 3 grand in wax with not much to show for it. My measly pulls are looking better.
<< <i>The baseballcardpedia.com page is pretty cool. >>
Hey thanks for the site, always looking forchecklists, inventory listing etc. There was someone who had a pretty big list of yearly sets on excel spreadsheets. Might of been on another site. Hope to get my half case today, busting tonight!

No retail here ins Missouri, but I did pick up an overpriced hobby box....ripping to begin shortly hopefully I don't get another Konerko jersey for my $90.

I've busted five cases so far and have pulled four auto's. Two in case #1, none in case #2 or #3, and one each in cases #4 and #5. Luckily none of them are commons.

That is awful. 2 cases with no ink. I really think the blue autos are now the short prints...anyone else agree?
Guys, I'm looking to collect my annual Heritage subsets. This year I think I'm after the League Leaders, All-Stars and (probably) the MVPs. I know the latter two are shortprints, so I'll hold off on those for now. Does anyone have a set of the League Leaders they don't need?
Walt, why are you on the phone, you should be out scouring Florida for more Heritage.....unless you're searching while on the phone and then that is ok.
Some of the Info, most of which has been figured out on this post:
Topps has announced a larger then usual assortment of short prints and variations in 2010 Topps Heritage Baseball. The full short print / variation checklist is as follows:
Short Printed Base Cards Base cards 426-500 are short printed and can be found 1:3 packs.
1961 HR Chase Insert 2010 Topps Heritage commemorates the 1961 Topps design, so Topps saw it fitting to celebrate the famous 1961 HR chase with a special 45-card insert
Babe Ruth (15 cards) Hobby Exclusive Roger Maris (15 cards) Wal-Mart Exclusive Mickey Mantle (15 cards) Target Exclusive Each of these inserts also has a Relic Parallel that’s sequentially numbered to the player’s jersey number …Ruth (#’d to 3), Maris (#’d to 9) and Mantle (#’d to 7). In addition, there are short printed variations in the base set featuring Ruth (#60), Maris (#61) and Mantle (#56).
Dice Game Variations In 1961, Topps issued an obscure 18-card dice game as a test. The following players in 2010 Heritage have short printed variations with dice game backs: Joe Mauer, Victor Martinez, Albert Pujols, Mark Teixeira, Grady Sizemore, Justin Upton, Adam Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Matt Kemp, Ichiro, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Tim Lincecum, Chase Utley, Ian Kinsler, Derek Jeter, Hanley Ramirez, Alex Rodriguez and Chipper Jones. Color Variations There are 10 extremely short printed color variations. The color changes appear on the player and team name plates at the bottom of the card.
Albert Pujols Black-Black Joe Mauer Black-Black CC Sabathia Green-Yellow Derek Jeter Red-Yellow Grady Sizemore Green-Red J.A. Happ Orange-Blue Zack Greinke Yellow-Blue Ryan Braun Blue-Orange David Wright Green-Yellow Pablo Sandoval Yellow-Green Juan Marichal Autographs All of Juan Marichal’s Real One autographs were signed in red ink and none are sequentially numbered unlike the other Red Ink autographs in the product.
It appears to me that the Ruth, Maris, and Mantle cards are "intermediate" short prints. The 10 color SPs are described as "extreme".
I'm also waiting to get confirmation on the SSPs having all white backs. The SSPs on Ebay that have photos of the card back all appear to be white to me. The Pujols auction actually stated that the card back was white.
I completely agree Mike, plus the variations aren't anything cool this year like swapped out players or anything. Somebody rip something I need to see some new cards. Ripping 5 cases was a blast, but sorting 5 cases worth of base cards is a drag.
The Mantle, Ruth, Maris cards are certainly not SSP's. I'm actually a little excited about retail. There will be 45 Maris jersey cards and 45 Mantle jersey cards thrown in through all the cards, these will be retail exclusive which makes the odds a bit better for us. I still think that early target 24 count boxes are gold mines. Topps loads them up at the cost of the later blasters which will be garbage. I also have to wonder if we will start seeing more blue autographs when retail hits. It appears right now that the reds are more numerous. I just noticed that topps gave no info on the blue ink print run last year or this year.
My hobby rips have been sadly lacking and autographs have been very hard to trade for, but I think I'm going to turn it around in retail!
Just busted box #5, part of my new nightly ritual.
Again no ink, I'm a little concerned about the collation since I pulled about 15 common dups from both box 4 and box 5.
Same ratio of inserts, sp (8), chrome (5) and refractors (1). Pulled my 3rd dice card in 5 boxes, a Tim Lincecum, based on the 1:72 odds there should be one more left in the case.
I'm glad to be a set collector otherwise I would be bummed out over my lack of big pulls. Hopefully I'll have a picture of something impressive to post tomorrow night from box 6. -Mark
<< <i>I still think that early target 24 count boxes are gold mines. >>
How does one buy these? These are the boxes that get busted opened to sell packs, right? Do you just need to get their first and buy the entire box before everyone else gets to it?
Timing is everything. I have found that most targets get stocked during lunch time and if one in your area gets it there is a good chance that the others do,. If your town is anything like mine, you can hit 3 targets and 2 walmarts in a half hour. Pack searchers will be a problem but remember that they can't get autos or super sp's. Good Luck!

Got my case in today after returning from my local. I only grabbed three boxes there, not the half case. This product is going fast in his shop. Out of the case I cracked three boxes. Nothing good yet, seems to be the average that everyone else is pulling. Those three boxes netted:
1 Dice-Pujols green box 3 GUs 24 SPs 12 chromes 3 fracts 4 TNs 18 Ruths 12 FBs-both 4 NA
Looking forward to tomorrow after an appt and a side job. I plan on cracking until I get a real goodie...

Just had to bust one more, but nothing exciting to report. Four down, eleven to go, maybe. I typically put 2-3 boxes away each year. I hope to open until I get a sig of some sort. I don't think I could open 8 or 9 boxes knowing there is an auto left in one of those put into storage.
