These weren't picked up this week, but they are fairly recent purchases...

Topps Gretzky record breaker card from from '80-81, four sharp corners and nicely CENTERED. The only thing that's keeping this raw is a tiny nick on the bottom edge (left side)...I don't know, should I submit this?

Mike, if you want to find out the stats and stories to go along with those ticket stubs go to newspaperarchive.com. I don't have an account at the moment or else I would provide you with the info but if you create an account for yourself you can simply search for the date after the ticket stub date along with the keyword 'red wings' or 'bruins'.. and it will bring up an assortment of newspaper pages (you see the actual scanned in newspaper) which will have the story/stats for the games..

This is how I obtained the information for the SignatureCut cards I created that had an actual ticket stub within them along with a cut autograph..

I didn't add any new cards to my collection, but I got to go to all 3 days of the L.A. Kings Hockeyfest.

It was a great autograph opportunity - I got 16 of the current Kings players, mostly on at least 2 items apiece (I missed out on Kopitar and 2 role players who were there, and Frolov and Smyth didn't attend because they were with their respective national teams), as well as the broadcast team (HOFer Bob Miller and 2 former players included), the head coach and an assistant coach, the GM (Ron Hextall) on 6 cards, team President Luc Robitaille on a puck, Bernie Nicholls on another puck, Kelly Hrudey on 6 cards, and Marcel Dionne on an index card (he walked down into the crowd and began signing after an event which wasn't even scheduled to be an autograph signing).

I also purchased a game-used Alyn McCauley home jersey from his one season as a King (with full tagging and team COA).

I love those 1971-72 hockey.

What is so interesting is that year was all portraits style photos of the players.

Except - Ken Dryden - he was so late on the scene they used a game photo to get him into the set.

I think that's why I consider the Dryden the best card of the set, it's one of the greatest RCs ever, IMO. And that with no regard to Drydens status, just a great card.

Wow, Cournyier was one of, if not my most favorite player to watch. It was a long break til Theoren Fleury.

Best as I can remember, the Guevremont is a tough one.





The ring is absolutely welded to the gum. And stained badly.




And of course the wrapper is in PSA 7 condition, lol. Well maybe PSA 6 now.






that was really great. I get to add The Hammer to my short list of RCs I've pulled. Mike Bossy and Lemieux in both OPC and Topps.

Hey everyone, I've been busy at school so have not picked up anything new the past couple months (except for some PSA orders). I was going through some boxes during my parents move over the summer and found this Mogilny Score rookie from 1990...sheesh doesn't feel like that long - anyways - I can't find it anywhere. I've looked on eBay and used their advanced search, beckett.com, and google. Does anybody know anything about these? On the scan between Mogilny's head and the "Score" logo he, or someone at Score, wrote "1125/1990"
