Actually, I'm in a good mood despite the Phillies loss. Ebay has gone bery, bery well this week with some dynamic Saturday action as well, going I hope to lead up to some nice closing prices Sunday night. Recession? What recession?

Might just gain some decent beer and lap dance money. LOL

Haven't we seen this same pattern the past few seasons? - Pets take the lead for awhile, even for a long while, before quitting down the stretch.
  • Where were the mets fans when they were floundering and barely above the nats for last place? At least philly fans are here through thick and thin...the same cannot be said for mets fans.

I've been here after every loss as well as after every win. You can ask the Philly fans and even they will tell you that..

Are you kidding?? The only reason at least one of the Philly fans was here was because the team was winning and took over first place.

Now he is off playing the flute or whatever the heck it is.

Who are you anyway with your 15 whole posts??..LOL

That's not true - almost all of Grote15's posts are from the Testing Forum. Why he keeps posting in the Testing Forum, I'll never know?

AMAZING! Tonight is his 7th start and he has only given up FOUR EARNED RUNS!

He should be 6-0 going into this game.

ANOTHER TOUGH LUCK GUY: Cliff Lee of the Indians. His first two starts were bad, but in his past four starts:

    ERA: 1.74
    Record: 0-3

    Pets win streak - OVER!

Same as the past few seasons - Pets get hot early in the season, and a little hot mid season, but by the Fall they'll be choking like the mercenary dogs that they are. Ha! Ha!

And if Braves fans believe their team has a chance to win the NL East, then I would advise them to stop smoking banana peels and munching on toadstools.

Unfortunately for Sillies fans, their losing streak isn't also over...about the only way they can gain ground is if they're off, LOL!!

Grote15 is at his local tavern right now saying, "Thank you bartender, may I have another" trying to forget about this Mets loss knowing that at some point in the season the Mets will lie down and quit like the mercenary dogs that they are.
  • I must give SteveK his props. His team gets mangled by the Braves but he stays right here and rolls with the punches. Lil Kevie on the other hand runs and hides until Mommy says it's OK to come out from under the bed. I wonder if he plays with his "flute" while he's under the bed?
