Hi Joe, my name is Don, I am a Leo.. I like football, fishing and collecting coins. My favorite food is Dungeoness Crabs legs, Pizza with olives and onions. My favorite movie is Animal House and Jaws.
Also, I am into hot cars and fast woman, no not fast cars and hot women.. I am the past CEO of Enron and I come to you behind bars tonight to say to you Joe and all the other members on this forum, you have quite a bunch of members on this forum just like I have here in San Quentin corrections.
Please don't judge me for who I was or what I did, but give me a chance to show you who I have become. A coin dealer in prison..
This thread will die a slow death as coins are received. Then on Mar 11, unless PCGS changes it's mind on the FS cutoff date, there will be hell to pay postings from those that haven't received their coins. I am one of those that fought the logjam and got my order in during the first hour and have received nothing, no shipping notice, e-mail, or Credit card charge.
Edited to add: I did at one time have a pending CC charge and my order showed in stock and reserved. With the Mint filling later orders the in stock and reserved means nothing.
This thread may die,, BUT a few new people like me that are just getting into hoarding/collecting have learned alot and got a nice welcome to the forum. Normally I would have been flamed by now. So thanks. I gave my Dad a proof Lincoln silver dollar today, and he loved it. I finished my ASE collection today with a few coins off ebay. Now if I would just get a e-mail notification about my UHR, it will all be rite with the universe. good luck everyone next week
Sittinguy, you aren't through...heck you just got started....or if you are into fishing, you might say the hook has just been set! HA
I've collected for over 30 years, and it would seem to me you have just begun. You will find another one you want to collect, such as Walking halves. That was one of my favorites to collect. That one and my Lincoln set.
Just checked my status. My UHR is still in Laurel, MD, probably snowed in for a while. It's a 100 mile drive which I'm not up to even if they would let me go fetch it.

hmmmm. just to double check... here is the format:

as far as I know, 'X' is the actual letter 'X,' but I don't know if it has a meaning or will change in the future or...
my experience is that the tracking info shows up in their system the same day. it is the "it's shipped" e-mail that can arrive late (but lately they've been coming same day, too)
"Artist" has, as far as I can tell, experienced the same 'invalid' ups number too.
there have been erroneous orders received... could this be erroneous shipping e-mail? or perhaps they entered the ups info and ups didn't get the info nor the box yet. maybe the box just has a sticker??? dunno.
I got the it's been shipped with the UPS tracking number email last Friday.
UPS does not recognize the tracking number.
I just got off the phone with a PB rep who told me (after putting me on hold) that the tracking info doesn't show up for a few days.
Does that mean that the coin will show up today and the tracking info updates by Wednesday?
I have never experienced this with any shipping company before. >>
I know there is always a delay from the time you receive your tracking number to the time that UPS enters it into their system, but I have never seen that time period for the delay exceed 24 hours and that was rare. Usually UPS processes that info into their system before the end of the day that the tracking number was issued.
Make sure you have the right tracking number; it is so easy to key in the wrong number. And pay attention to case sensitive even though it shouldn't matter.
I would call the 1-800-usa-mint again and confirm the tracking number and while on line with the rep i would key the tracking number into the UPS website. Most of the reps have access to the internet but they like to say that they don't so just assume they do when you talk to them. If the tracking number doesn't come up on the ups website while you are on the phone with the rep then ask the rep to do it or fix it. And if that doesn't work tell them to call me immediately!
According to the news outlets, it is clear and cold in Indy, the roads are clear and there are no school closings, so those PBGS clowns should be hard at work packing our UHRs. Let the games begin!

Now, call 1-800-PICK-UPS. maybe they can see something on their end that you can't see on the website. Also, ask them about the bull$hit statement that it takes a few days.
If UPS has no knowledge of your tracking number then that means the Mint packaged your UHR and processed it into their shipping system BUT DID NOT release your UHR package to UPS before the end of day friday.
Therefore, your UHR will ship today. You will be able to track your tracking number on line before the end of today after UPS picks up your package from the Mint. You will receive your UHR tomorrow.

I got billing info recieved from UPS. That means my package is not coming today. This mint sucks. They said the package shipped but it didn't crack pots lied to me saying the package has shipped that makes me as angry as I was when I thought I had to wait another month
I wonder what really happened to the first thousand orders or so. Perhaps someone deleted all the information. Certainly the incompetence the Mint has shown gives good reason to suspect something like that,

What a cluster #$%^ at the mint shipping facility.
My CC was tested on 2/10 - all was okay I was told (on 2/18) that my coin was scheduled to ship 2/20 nothing yet, card has not been accessed since Called this morning and was told all is fine with the CC, should ship no later than 4/30, maybe sooner. I complained that the breakdown in FIFO shipping is unacceptable, and their management needs to know the customers are not happy about it. I was told that the problem is that CC auth is why some later customers received theirs first, to which I reminded her that my CC was tested successfully on 2/10. She said, yes, that's true, it should ship before 4/30.
