Has the following scenario happened with the 2009 UHR:
After days of anxiously awaiting the shipment of the UHR, you angrily call the usmint to ask what's up with my UHR order only to have the rep say that your order has been "picked". If so ("picked" presumably means that it is just about out the door) has anyone actually received it in a timely manner after this notification?
FIFO = Final In, First out - turns out it was just a big misunderstanding about FIFO. In fact, the mint is shipping FIFO it's just that nobody knew what the initial 'F' stood for.
I'm sitting here compairing my UHR to a regular old 1 oz Bullion Eagle (2001) and in contrast the UHR really stands out in more ways than one. The color is very golden in contrast to the brassy look of the AGE. The relief is truely artistic and really gives a feeling for the genius of Augustus St Gaudens. I'm getting so inspired I think I'll actually go to the Philadelphia Art Museum this week and see ASG's "Diana" - like I've been considering for the last 10 years. And while I'm at it I'll grab a Gino's or Pat's Philly Cheese Steak.
I'm on lay-off, so I really need a boost to my spirits. All is not doom & gloom when you have a new UHR in your possession.
PS - I think I see Liberty's belly button also. I think it's meant to be, that gown appears to be rather filmy - like it's hardly there.

a relative of mine who placed an order at 12:16 on jan 22 order #308271XX has just received the telephone prompt that her order has been shipped. all previous checks (as recent as 4:30 est) indicated order being processed, she was a first hour person she said no cc or email activity has been noticed yet .... edited to indicated she checked the automated telephone system.
Well I just called about 15 minutes ago and my order (3083XXXX) has just been picked. On previous calls it was NOT in this status and now it is. I told her that the authorization has been removed from my credit card in the last couple days and she said that was no big deal as my card already had authorization. She made me feel so warm and fuzzy that I hung up without any yelling at all!
I've looked at the obverse of the Coin and I clearly see all 5 toes of Liberty's left foot. Can't decide where her right foot might be.
On the reverse I see Eagles toes.
But where in H is this Camel you speak of? I want to see the toe of this Camel.
BeeMan - them do be some good pics. A bit better than having the real thing in front of you. At least the pics are easier to see than this litrtle Coin.

Well, the UPS guy just left...I have "her" in hand. As reported: the box is beautiful and the coin's stuning. I'm struggling to get some clean close-up pics of just the coin. My auto-flash is wiping out coin. I'll have to keep playing with this.
BTW, no book.

Thank you; the Forum has been a great source of insight into the FIFO fiasco. It would be great if the comments folks have been writing ultimately make a positive difference in the way the US Mint/PBGS run their order and distribution operations.

I have also been @pick since Feb 10, In stock, Reserved, Cancel boxes gone (of course, that was back in the "olden days" when you could check your status on-line).
No change today, nada, zilch, goose-eggs.
UHR order: 30836xxx Jan 22 @ ~1:08pm Status: MIA
I just had a thought - maybe we should make up MIA bracelets with our UHR order number and time engraved on them?
<< <i>a relative of mine who placed an order at 12:16 on jan 22 order #308271XX has just received the telephone prompt that her order has been shipped. >>
I also checked the automated system, moments ago. Wishful thinking; but, "Your order is still being processed." Dear US Mint/PBGS:
<< <i>Hey, I welcomed you in a thread I started & named after you. You never replied & dudes though I was smoking something! here it is >>
You did, and I replied (just now, unfortunately). Was on my way back to work at the time. Thank you! Still no word; but hopeful to hear something in the next 24-48 hours.
Ok, I really did just get off the phone with the mint. First, I tried the automated status since somebody here posted that they just received a status that their UHR was shipped. Well, my UHR is "still being processed" because they are "working to fill your item request". This status for my UHR has not changed for weeks, many weeks.
Then, I called back waited on hold and spoke to a Rep. just to hear the same old tired rehearsed speech about April 24th. For humour's sake, I asked her "April 24th of 2010?". She was void of all humour and social skills which only encouraged me to exacerbate the situation and to challenge her tolerance for pain. After only ten minutes, she succumbed to my attack on her patience and transferred me to her supervisor. The game was over; I won and didn't feel like beating another supervisor so I hung up.
The Mints phone tracking system appears to be down again tonight (8:22 Eastern time). Had my order in with a email confirmation within the first 45 minutes. Last notice I had was the UH1 email that not everyone got. Other than that, I only know the Mint received my order and it is "in process".
<< <i>The automated system tells everyone the same thing you should have waited for a rep. >>
Followed your advice and 45 minutes later: 1ZE19etc, etc, etc, etc! YAYYYY!! Shipping this evening; but UPS doesn't have tracking info up yet. Nevertheless, there's light at the end of the tunnel and it's not an oncoming train! Ty ty!

I agree, this makes me want to keep one of the 2 I have coming. Some of the other descriptions of the coins had made me consider selling both.
Shipping email came on Friday, hopefully the coins will follow suit.

I just hope I'm not last. Maybe we should pitch in for a gift for the last one. Maybe a nice slabbed coin of choice, (silver) of course..
If I have to actually wait until april 24th I might go go postal.
