You want to call the Mint regarding the status of your UHR for three reasons:
1. to make sure your order is still in the Mint's system and there is nothing pending like a bad credit card address 2. peace of mind knowing all is well with reason # 1 3. and to let the Mint know you are not happy with their performance. If you do not voice your complaint/concern, then not only will the Mint NOT know they are lacking, but there is no incentive for the Mint to change if a sufficient number of us do not complain.
I encourage everybody to call the Mint and let them know how you feel. You don't have to be mean; just simply communicate your concerns. I do believe that the tremendous volume of incoming calls has already changed and continues to change the Mint's decisionmaking.

I've been on hold for 30 minutes already, after I called them earlier and asked to talk to a supervisor....who was apparently busy. The guy took my number and promised that the Supervisor would call me soon....never happened.
Anyways, I went to check my email and see this:

I didn't even glance at the order number, and opened it up to see that my John Adams direct ships that I ordered on 2/17 shipped. -______-

I didn't even glance at the order number, and opened it up to see that my John Adams direct ships that I ordered on 2/17 shipped. -______-
Ok, Order #30826413 has officially been shipped and should arrive tomorrow morning...Ya know you can give your order # once it's shipped and no need to hide it like a prize...Too funny, I had just spoke with the buyer an hour ago and we both decided to give up our deal cause it wasn't ever coming....Then I get the stupid email...maybe I'll just keep the darn thing...
I got an email this afternoon from the USPS that my UHR has arrived at my PO box. Sadly, I won't be home until Thursday night, so I won't be able to get it until Friday. Maybe I'll just drive it down to Orange County and hand it to PCGS, since it's an open house that day.
That's the one I ordered about 12 hours after they went on sale. The one I ordered before 1PM is still MIA.
Off to PCGS I hope or maybe just happy being sealed.
