Not bad all in all, but the graded cards don't even come close to paying for the rip. I am staying away from Cellos (and especially searched Cellos like this last rip). To get only one Henderson and 25 Gaylor Perrys is an outrage.
<< <i>Just my .02 and the reason I am not joining this one. I assume that the 2 boxes for $300 are the ones that Steve has had forever with stars showing on top or bottom. The chances of pulling a Rickey from one of these 2 boxes will be somewhere between slim and none. I almost bought both of these boxes a few months ago, but after talking to Steve I changed my mind. Steve bought them from a guy who put the boxes together himself and more than likely knew the sequencing. Of course, the only way to prove this is to bust them. Good luck to all. >>
Was the box offered by Steve as a full box or did he mention that the box was put together with packs from different boxes? This is the one issue that is a problem with buying vintage boxes...as they were not sealed by the factory, it's hard to know (especially if they are wax packs) if it is an original box or one that has been put together. Obviously, the former is far more desirable than the latter..

BBCE had the star cello pack breakdowns already (just who was on the front and who was on the back of those cellos).
If I recall, most group rip participants received at least (3) cello packs (out of four) with stars either on the front or back.
So of course BBCE knew, as did all of us as. Otherwise, we would not have been guaranteed us at least (3) star card cello packs.
I remember some participants got all four packs with stars on the fronts or backs of their cello packs!
