Listen!
Besides Henderson, there is plenty of star power in this series:

I just cashed my welfare check! So here's the "rip money"! P.S. I thought Topps cards had centering issues, just look at those 100 dollar bills! Most are "qualifiers". LOL!

Well I see the Big has made his appearance. I wonder why he isn't also asking for Hockey to be included?? The only scam here is you posting to cry about the leader of this break.
Nice card! Was that from the rip where we got wax from every year in the 80's+, etc.? I can't remember, too old! LOL!
rd >>
I think this was from a case rip, because I remember getting an entire box. This is the same box where I pulled two Hendersons, that graded PSA 9 and PSA 8. This is when I realized there will never be another Henderson graded PSA 10.
I still have a hand full of sharp and centered HOF cards that I don't think I'll ever sub. If I get a 9, I won't be able to make my grading money back. I already made my money back from the box itself. The Henderson 9 sold for around $225, the Henderson 8 sold for around $60, and the Fisk 10 just sold for $50 (thought that would go for more). Maybe I'll sub the rest of the nice '80s at a later date, but for now I'll just wait.
Steve Hart is on a buying trip on the "east coast". (We can assume more good stuff soon @ BBCE?)
I will hear from him later on today! (Monday).
Yes! BBCE will ship for us, collect the "bread" from us all!
And we can expect a "group discount" from Steve.
I just want to make sure that BBCE will pass-out the "star cellos" equally to all of us. (we can expect about two "star cellos" each, plus to regular cellos, for a total of 4 cellos each!)...
Star Cellos = A star card on the top or bottom of the cello pack!
rd
P.S. If anyone does not have a Paypal account please, PM, email, or post here, thanx!
My guess, will be about $45, plus BBCE shipping & Handling!
Plus, I expect each participant to pull at least (3) cards for PSA grading. I an writing a nice letter to Joe Orlando, letting him know we are trying something new: i.e., a "group rip" and "group PSA submission" together! I'm asking him for very special consideration here. (A special low price, like $4, just for a this message board members' "group rip and grade")... maybe this will be a trend Joe & Company will continue for us into the future?
And you know what Skilow I would like just once to hear something Non Negative come out of your Mouth on these boards. I have seen Robert in action for many years now as our paths have crossed on Non Sport stuff in many different instances and I have been outbid by him on numerous occasions as well as having beaten him...well maybe once. 1980: A court ruling states that Topps’ exclusive rights apply only to baseball cards sold with gum, opening the door for competitors to finally get back in the game. (So in some way, the 1980 Topps Baseball set, just might be the last year of "vintage baseball"?)
So, did the Modern Era of Sports Cards begin in 1981?
1981: Taking advantage of the ruling, Donruss and Fleer both produce their first baseball card sets.

Don't worry, Neal. I 100% agree with you! I'm going to get it all "squared away" with PSA! I do not see any problems either. But I'm going to ask Joe about how he wants it done! So this way, we will have Joe's "stamp of approval" in the submission! LOL! But Neal, just in case we get a ton of "group submissions" (there's over 2000 cards in those cellos!), I'll need to use seperate submission forms for some. But I'll deal with it!
