Gold and silver are valuable but wisdom is priceless.
There is a reverse of 2007? Cool! Wish I had bought more than my usual 1 now. If Gainesville is selling them for $150 everyone should be buying them and flipping them on eBay ASAP. Even a cold auction should yield you 100% profit easily.

<< <i>We shall see. The only way to win is to buy EVERY piece of $&!% that the Mint sells and hope for another rebate from the gov to cover the losses. >>
Why try to "win"? Why not just collect what you like? Or, is it all about flipping for a profit?
Looks to me like whether he was asking or not, that his pics show the reverses of (2) 2008 proof ASE's, one with a 2007 reverse, he also said sorry for the crappy pics I just guessed he had them in hand and if so I consider this a first report...

There are a lot more Bullions coins made, my opinion is that the Proof would be the best one to get, the "W" would be second and the bullion third. Just based on the simple fact of Mintage. They strike more coins per die for the bullion then they do for the "W" or the Proof.
<< <i>Any word on if this is also seen on the Proof versions? >>
I do not know about the Proofs, However there are some unc. WITHOUT the " W " with the 2007 reverse. >>
Where has this been reported? Has it been confirmed?

Figure total cost per coin, including grading and selling is about $50. Leaving $100 profit. It looks like they have a lot, so even 100 coins will net $10,000 !! 1000 coins $100,000.

I may have to rescind my statement doubting Mint planning on this because it is too easy to have prevented it. A new font change? Come on. Who authorized it? I'm sure it will be tied to President Bush and the Iraq peace effort. BS on the Mint as if that is new!
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

It was a question, not a statement. I have yet to recieve the coin, and I ahev a feeling it will be a normal reverse.
Looks like I need to go to the bank tomorrow and have some fun looking through all my 2008 ASE rolls. It looks like I picked a good year to stock up on green monster rolls.
<< <i>I opened my sealed box of 50 2008-W ASE burnished.
This is what I found:
46- 2007 reverse. 5- 2008 reverse.
Yes that equals 51.....the US mint shipped one extra. >>
Some on these boards are saying that you could only get melt minus a bit for your bullion rounds. I would be happy to offer you melt plus $10 for any of your unwanted 2008 reverse of 07 bullion rounds that you will sadly only get melt for later on according to some on these boards.
