mmync, I've never collected '76 FB, so I have no answer to your question. However, I do know nice cards when I see them. Those look fantastic...sharp, clean, and beautifully centered. Very nice.
all these '73s came w/ a raw set i purchased ~ 3 years ago, minus the joe morgan. the morgan card is very hard to find w/o print dots, white noise & decent centering to boot.
My new addition - an interesting 1887 Old Judge with the team name cut out from another card and glued on to this one, to update Ward's move from NY to Brooklyn....
Collecting Clemente master (#6) and basic PSA registry sets, Hank Aaron master and basic sets, Mantle oddball issues, 1970's mega decade HOFs, 1967 Topps pin ups, and high grade Topps Clemente and Aaron. Numerous transactions with over 100 board members.

Right you are, css23. Amazingly enough, these 32 cards are only half of the hatless cards in that set. There are 63 or 64 total, I'm not exactly sure. I always thought the hatless shot looked pretty silly, but I prefer it over the "classic" airbrushed hat!
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.

Tom, I've been looking forward to your post all week. You've given us a veritable smorgasbord of cards. Cool stuff. I particularly like the Gromek card. Being partial to the newer stuff, I really like those HR Leader cards and the 1971's (my 2nd favorite set). Your cards were worth the wait.
I went to another card show last weekend, and was able to pick up several nice cards. Here is the first lot that I'd like to share with everyone - some 55 and 56 Topps...

1st venture into topps vault -ish. These 3 cards in psa 8 or better format would fetch a pretty penny, but i know what it means to be alone, i sure do wish i was at home...
Got these when I bought a collection awhile back. they are same size as regular cards but have glossy finish and nothing on the backs. If anyone has any idea where they may be from, the info would be greatly appreciated. Old time Browns pictured with some swell action shots. Jim Brown, Lou the toe Groza, Gary Collins...etc. al.
side note: i paid almost $25 for 3 card panel. there was a nolan ryan rb panel that sold for almost $180 that was really cool, but that is out of my league.
Just picked up these two for my All Time Red Sox sets. They are now the two oldest cards that I own. I've been focusing on 60's and 70's for awhile now, but since I started the All Time Red Sox set on the registry, I'm excited to be buying older cards. I think they're 4's and maybe 5's on the right day.

Is it common for 76's to be a little over-sized?? Some of these scale a little long.

No way. I want to say that they are all head shots, but thats too easy. Speaking of heads, look at the size of Joe Niekro's melon. Wow.
