Do you think this has anything to do with the announcement that Coin World supposedly just made that they confirmed with the mint that there will be no singles for 2006?

I haven't heard that, it could be.
I also think that people still are not sure if they are going to get their set or not. That is a bunch of people who haven't even looked to the secondardy market yet.

I think the Coin World announcement will bring a few fence-riders into the bidding, but I think the biggest reason the sets keep going up is the thousands of customers who had "Back-Orders" that now realize their shipments aren't coming. That just added a few thousand bidders now pissed their mint order wasn't filled into the bidding war.
Plus if everyone is betting on these hitting 10k, they would be crazy not to buy at 6k and re-sell in a few weeks or around Christmas. I'm with Russ, they will go up 1k every 10 days or so for a little while IMO.
Wow if this isn't a sell signal ..I haven''t seen one ..everyone is hyper bullish.. but look ....6 sets are offered right now, on Ebay as BIN $ 5495.00. The one telltale sign is that NGC 70s graded coins have fallen from last week ...But I did jump for a set of 69s well under 5.000. Oh well Anyone notice a dealer /person spending over a 100,000 so far on the 3 pc sets?? Both raw and graded

This sounds familiar! Happened to me in the past. In my case, I notified the mint of the credit card changes. And they still had the old credit card info somewhere on file, causing my coin order to get cancelled.
IMHO, the best thing to do is cancel your account with the mint and set up another one because the mint WILL NOT contact you if there are discrepancies with your account!!
I agree! "U got screwed." It's unfortunate, and I'm sorry to hear that. It's to bad the mint doesn't have better customer service to address issues such as these!
I noticed he indicates "FREE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE SET WINS!" I should look to see what else he has.
As for PayPal may be considered. I will be surprised ebay doesn't pull it for a listing violation. Either you accept it or you don't and you can't pass the fees to the buyer. Then again, they will make a wad if he sells.

Actually they say you can split the fees.
Some people crack me up, they are making $20,000 profit and they are to cheap to spring for the fees.
If I sold 10 seperate auctions and accepted paypal, I would be eating the fees. so what's the diff ??
As for PayPal may be considered. I will be surprised ebay doesn't pull it for a listing violation. Either you accept it or you don't and you can't pass the fees to the buyer. Then again, they will make a wad if he sells.
