@mariner@gemint. Thanks for the kind words ... been watching this one for a while .... I feel the downside is minimal at the price. I know many feel 707 cards are over priced but I think the market will hold for this one

Maybe this has been mentioned before in this forum and I missed it but doies anyone know why there was no Ted Williams card for 1959? He came to Topps with much fanfare in 1954 where in that set he had card #1 and 250 and then had Topps cards from 55-58, then he had no Topps cards in 1959 and 1960 and his next Topps card was in 1969 as a coach.
Fleer signed him to an exclusive contract. > @hankcaddy said:

Gómez later went to the Mexican League, where he pitched with Veracruz, Mexico. One day a young boy begged Gómez to buy a lottery ticket that he was selling to make some badly needed money. The boy insisted that Gómez buy the ticket because his uniform number matched that of the ticket, and Gómez, who did not normally buy such tickets, agreed. To his great surprise the ticket was a winner of a $35,000 prize. Gómez attempted to share the money with the boy's family and when they refused, he went to a local bank and set up a trust fund for the lad, to be given to him at age 18.
In 2001, Gómez was hospitalized after a lengthy fight against cancer, and was about to receive surgery. A doctor from Mexico requested permission to attend the operation. When Gómez asked the doctor why he had come, he replied, "I was that little boy, the money that you left in trust was enough to pay for my medical school."

Anybody have any comments or ideas why some of these cards seem to have an "A" where there shoulders meet and some don't. I've seen multiple examples showing this apparent "A". Just curious
Here is a card that I thought for sure is a PSA 9, but it seems that PSA does not agree with me...oh well, the card is mind-blowing colorful and gorgeous.....

Smart BIN buy hankcaddy. I bet if you listed it in an open auction, it would go for $1500+ the way prices are going these days.
