The seller was HOF_sports_ink. When I last talked to Jack, he said he sold the last one he had for $600. I do have a 74 as well, so I might end up selling one.
Right now I only have about 16% graded, so hopefully 50% is within my budget. I cant wait to see the scans up for the Luckman, Conzelman, Neale, and Davis. Those were all great pickups!

It sure does look to be in good shape. Hard to belive that it is. Hopefully the back is not bad. Either way a RC Jordan Auto! Autos are tough to find as it is let alone a 61 auto'd. I was nervous when I submitted the BO. I thought for sure someone else would hit the BIN. I emailed the seller the that evening to let him know that I was really interested in the card. I figure he would counter after hearing that. But he just took my offer. I am pleased as punch. Now I just need two more Packer autos for the HOF set, plus others of course. Curly and Arnie are going to be tough. Neither really has a card that probably would have been auto'd. My (and our) only hope is that there is some team signed cards out there or that we find some more cuts in new product.

I am glad you were able to find one. I picked up mine about 2 years ago for $400 from KHW. I used my college graduation money to pay for it. LOL. Jordan is a tough signature to find on a card, that was the first one I've seen in a very long time. Here is a pic of mine:
I've never seen a team signed card signed by Lambeau. I know that a cuts card has not been made for him. Arnie has a 2002 SP Legendary Cuts card numbered to #25. Good luck tracking them down. I think people are becoming more interested in HOF autos. This months Tuff Stuff has a great article about the top 20 HOF autographs and how they hold great investment potential. Lambeau was ranked 3rd, Herber was ranked #12.

Thanks Reese. Greg and I talked about the card this afternoon. I was initially hesitant to bid. I decided to go for it and it worked out. I was so pissed yesterday when I lost out on the J. Finks card in the heritage auction (long story, but the card closed for $200 less than what I would have bid. Plus Heritage went out of their way to make the bidding process as difficult as possible and I still couldn't bid, so I needed to win something to soothe my angry heart.
Well I am glad one of us got the Ford. It looks like all the bidding came from me and Greg. You will have to let us know how it looks. I emailed Albershiem and he said it was in ex-mt condition, wit no creases, but you can't see the corners in the pic.
I saw the Finks and I couldn't believe it! Someone got a really sweet deal on that one. I'll keep my eyes open for another one.

Well you were the first person to give me a "heads up" on that card. I thought i could just set a snipe through Ebay, no problem. Well, you couldn't really use Ebay to bid on the card. You had to register with Heritage (which I did). When I tried again to bid, it wouldn't let me. It said I had to register again. So I went to Heritage's website and tried to bid through there. It still wouldn't let me bid. It said the auction wasn't open yet (although there were already 2 bids on the card). So, I decided to call Heritage. I got a rep who first said there was no such item available??? WTF? I gave him the Ebay item #. He said, "We don't use those numbers". After a few minutes he finally found the auction. Once he confirmed I had registered, he tried to submit my max bid. It still wouldn't enter. It said I wasn't registered!! Are you kidding me!! I asked if there was anything else we could do to get my bid in. He said there wasn't Guess which auction house I won't use again?
Thats crazy! I guess I don't completely understand why they list items on ebay. Do the bids even count? The auctions I've seen always end early. Is it just a way to advertise? I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. I picked up a Dan Reeves letter from Heritage and didn't have any problems. It was the first time I've purchased anything from them and everything was great.
