Looks like Larryvan is liquidating his registry set. I think he was above 40% in all-psa 10's before he pulled it.

That's a lotta of psa 10's!!!!

There are some real low pops amongst those 10's. I just traded my Ken Dayley to another board member --- looks like Larry Van has 1 of the other 2 out there.

Yup...me and another board member sent it off at the end of October on a bulk $6 deal. It arrived on 11/3 and we're still waiting. He had a bunch of hockey and I had a mix of things to test my 'eye' out. He contacted PSA and they say that it should be done by the end of this week. We'd get like a voucher per day they go over or something like that. But, still waiting.

Thanks, you are refering to the one on his hat?? I do not think that they would downgrade for that. They sure let them go on the 75 Topps cards.

yeah the one on the hat. Every issues dif they seem to whack them to 8's on 81's but have even seen 10's with them in the 70's. So just wondering before i send them in.

I would wait and see if you get some more opinions from the others on this thread. I have only been collecting this set for a few months and am not as familiar with it as some. I am sure BugontheRug or ArnyVee are more familiar with this problem.

Fisheyes?......You'll a few 10's with them from time to time, but will find them in 9's too. Based on the card centering alone, it will most likely grade 9 at most.

Usually takes 24 hours from the time they pop online.... or, more precisely, when they actually ship out from PSA HQ.

Between Duke4Life, jl-616, and LarryVan ... ebay is FLOODED right now with 84D. I almost don't know what to do --- it's so overwhelming...

I sort of get the sense that a lot more graded cards are entering the market, driving supply up. Unless demand keeps pace, are we going to see a fall in prices overall?

What is going on with some of the 84 auctions, I made a bid on the Bob Horner card, got a message this morning that the auction was pulled??

The demand is pretty high still though. There are a few active members and many sitting on the sidelines waiting to jump into this set. The good thing about this set is that it is considered (and rightfully so) the best set of the '80s and will always have a following. Will we see a decline in 'demand'? Maybe in the short term, but we have a great outlook on this set, IMO.

supply will continue to go up, and hope demand will to 300 just left my door this am.

I agree with the rest of you.....awhile back the same think happened on a bunch of 84 D's also....someone is making offers that can't be refused....just so you all know it's not al either......I'm putting my set together the hard way One card at a time.....hey isn't that someone's commercial logo??
