Looks like 4SC is submitting some 84D to PSA and come up with a good number of 10's, even a few of the scarce low pop counts. Here's hoping they continue and find any of the ones remaining. Anyone else looking to sell off any PSA 10's let me know.
I did pick up a few from my prior list, #382 and #450. Cross those off my prior list. Thanks.

Recently picked up another one of the toughies, #536 TABLER PSA 10. List is now down to 7 cards.
Anyone that can help me fill in the last 7 cards, please let me know. Trying desperately to complete this set. Thanks.

List is still at 7 cards. here are the #'s if anyone can help. It's also cross referenced on the BST page but getting no replies there.

    478 B Brown, #497 Atherton, #535 Horner, #545 Garcia, #553 Kuiper,

    556 M Torres and #648 G Pettis

At this point would take PSA 9's to wrap this set up. Thanks.

Bump. Still looking for the ones listed above. Would either buy outright or work out a trade.

A little further North and West of Philly.
30 minutes to the "Bank" and the "Linc"

BTW - Cards are in Research and ID with an expected completion of 3/4
Maybe I can have cards in hand in time for the next Philly Show in March...

They all look great. The Horner maybe off a touch T/B. Color and surface from what I see look great as well. I'll say the Horner gets a 9. I think the other two deserve 10's but I'm hoping that at least one of them is a 10.

    You got 1 10....
If you could have a 10 in these cards, which would it be?

Not attributed to any player or order .... the grades are 9, 9, 10

I'll say the Kuiper gets the 10. No reasoning since they all look 10 worthy. And the winner is......

  • JRR300JRR300 Posts: 1,385 ✭✭✭✭

BTW...I didn't ask but are the backs as good as the fronts?

  • sjjs28sjjs28 Posts: 490 ✭✭✭✭

Backs are all pretty much the same - very clean - but nothing perfectly centered

    Horner is the 10

wow, I thought that was the one that was off a little. Go figure.

I'd like to get all 3. That would take my count from 7 to 5 and move the Brown up to a 9. Let me know.

  • sjjs28sjjs28 Posts: 490 ✭✭✭✭

    OK ....
Never my intention to get rich grading the cards off - but not my intention to take a loss by doing the same.
And I'm not, not getting the cards into your set...

So, This is your sweet spot -
    What are the cards value?
Here's what I do know.... The last Horner PSA10 sold in December 2018 (pre-COVID)

Lets start with your perspective on pricing and work from there...

thanks to Steve S, I'm now down to FIVE! These last few are proving to be much more difficult than some of the graded vintage sets I had put together before. The remaining cards are 479 ATHERTON, 535 HORNER, 545 K GARCIA, 556 M TORREZ and 647 PETTIS. Again would prefer 10's but would take 9's to complete this one.
