Has anyone been keeping track of what Upsala and the newest pursuer of 84 Donruss in PSA 10s have purchased?
About 8 months ago I sold my PSA 10 Hickey, a 1 of 2 at the time and Upsala won it for somewhere around $160.
I wonder what a 1 of 2 would bring now if both need it.

I don't collect 1984 Donruss, but I usually read all Baseball Threads on these forums. I am amazed at the enthusiasm for this set and wanted to compliment everyone's collections.

Have any of you guys ever busted a sealed case of 1984 donruss? Me and a friend were thinking about busting one for grading purposes and I was wondering what kind of success anyone has had doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S I am tired of the stupid "new" BGS website so I am in the process of crossing over my BGS stuff to PSA. I will soon be starting my 1999 Bowmans Best Atomic Refractor Baseball Set Registry on PSA!!!! Look forward to talking with you guys!!!!

This is one of the best set of the 80's.
I don't collect this set in a graded form But I'm still trying to finish my raw set.
I still need # 's 26 ,...30.. if anyone can help.

I had the set back then but sold it off a couple of years later. I wish I had didn't now!

WOW, so the pop is only one for youngblood...guess I need to go back to the pop reports and check things out. Bill, you still out there?? how's your project coming, or did you decide to abandon it?? Sorry to here Brent that you are selling your set. Wish I had the resources to try again on this set but just can't swing it now.

Good to hear from you Al and Brent - Hey I'm still around but a distant lurker at best. So, a Youngblood 10 for BIN $1200, is that correct? Doesn't surprise me as I still think it's been the most difficult card to find centered. As for all the money thrown at psa 10's, nothing surprises me anymore.

As for another set, I toyed with the idea, but right now I'm too busy with other things. Maybe some year down the road we can have a 'reunion' set build club.

Don't know who the current big buyers are but you probably couldn't go wrong by doing what the other person did...place it with a $1200 buy it now and see what happens. start it at maybe a couple hundred if you really don['t want to let it go cheap. jsut my random thoughts

PM sent on the Pettis. I have a 9 that just popped at PSA. I cracked a case and half of wax and a full rack case and it was the only one strong enough to submit. I thought it had a good chance at a 10.

Anyone know who (or when, I probably know the 'who') blew up the pop reports in this set in the last five weeks? I submitted a bunch of cards that were pop 4 or in PSA 10 or less as of mid June, and just discovered that most of them are pop 9's or worse now. Did a big batch of these hit the 'bay in late June-early July?
