Well, I don't have a Bust dollar. I don't have any 1799-dated coins of my own to show at the moment, either, but here is one I watched come out of the ground. It's my hand in the picture, examining the coin just after Tim Buck ("phut" on the forums) found it. He visited here last year and we went out detecting.

Well, I don't have a Bust dollar. I don't have any 1799-dated coins of my own to show at the moment, either, but here is one I watched come out of the ground. It is a 1799 Spanish Colonial (Mexico City) half-real piece. The date is a bit beat-up, but it's a 1799.
