The satchel has the tinyest pin hole at the very top it is not even noticible but its there only because that is what I was told. The price was right so it complted my set.
Here's a few tobacco submissions just back from SGC. They are my first tobacco cards graded...after reading these boards, sounded better to send pre-war tobacco cards to SGC. They aren't the greatest condition but still pretty cool The N135 is my favorite. A.lso, after my first T206, I might just have to get a few more!! Thanks for looking-Claude
Hey Dave, great Emmitt! I just opened two boxes of 94 Ultra and got a couple of them. mine are not worth grading but they sure are nice to look at. After seeing yours I need to look for a graded one. Real nice!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

edit: My average price per wax pack is approx. $ 11.00. What do you think? TIA for your opinions! (I know these are "non-sports" material, but I figured I would "ask-away" here anyway!)
Well, this arrived in the mail today and knocked my socks off. I won an auction for 2 of these cards and the scan had a white background. I could tell one was poorly centered, but couldn't tell on the other one. The price was right and since I'm trying to catch up to Donato on the Ryan cards, I went for it. When they arrived today, I had forgotten there were 2 cards and they were both in the same sleeve with the off-center one in front. when I went to leave feedback, I realized there were supposed to be 2 cards, and when I checked, this one was hiding behind the front one. I just went over it with the 10x and I can't find a thing wrong with it. It'll be going in on my next sub.
well...won 2600 in the casino last weekend...all gone now thanks to ebay....at least I have something to show for my winnings (3 baseballs and 1 piece of cardboard...lol)
Nice Fogerty.... Love the older cards with the bright colors that really pop out.
That's a great Schmidt sticker also. Did you submit it yourself?
Mike...
The stickers are not hard to find, but almost impossible to find in a Gem Mint 10. You have to go through many stickers or get very lucky to find one that's centered.
Nice stuff all around from everybody.
Got some stuff today in the mail, but I'm little tired since it's 3:00 AM and I just got home from work after a 12 hour day. Will scan and post later.
I recently picked up this 1911 T201 Double Folder off ebay. Nothing too exciting, just a PSA 2. But check out the actual picture on the card; I love the pose!
I remember having some of those Topps stickers ! I had the album and those would stick in it, I think I bought it because Johnny Bench was on the front. Wow, I havent seen any of those since I was 10 !

I don't know who the PSA Grader of Death was on this submission of the T 201's but I was able to get 6 of them DAMN cheap on ebay. I got 2 PSA 4's and 4 PSA 2's for a total of barely $170. The 2's look like 5's to me - not a crease in the bunch. Seriously the nicest 2's I've come across on any type of card. Sorry I'm not sure how to post these as scans right in the email, but here are a couple of ebay links. Hopefully someone can hook me up and post just the pic (or let me know how to do so?). Thanks guys and keep posting; I love this link!
I just introduced myself in another thread, but here are a couple of my favorites in my collection. (I hope the scans post as this is a first attempt for me!)

I would like to see a larger scan if you have the time.
Looks like a great card for a 1!

The Long Cut card is pretty cool. They remind me of some of the late 1800s trade cards.
What's on the back?
thanx for sharing them
mike
Very nice items.
And as it goes with the shiny stuff...me? Like nuns and monkeys, I like things that shine!
I love the colors on that LONG CUT. Very nice...

Nice Emmitt but I'm not sure what the "hot number" means? Is it a 1/1? Or limited number?
thanx

<< <i>Peetie...who is the first one? Mattingly has a cool sig! >>
The first one is Clint Barmes of the Colorado Rockies. He was the front runner for ROY last year until he broke his collarbone.
Mattingly's auto has changed somewhat over the years.
Glad to see you aboard the mail train.
I think you did well with those non sports packs. at 11.00 a pop for 34 yr old packs how can you go wrong?
i am not to familiar with the partridge family set so i do not know what else to tell you.

Steve
Ya did good with your winnings!
Congratulations X 2!!
Would like to see the card a little more up close when you get it.
mike
I really like the cards from the 1800s - so the Fogerty is way too cool - nice pose BTW.
But the Schmidt card - are those 82 stickers hard to find?
How many different Schmidt cards do you have?
Incredible!
mike
Christmas!!!
Matt - 2 more autos!? And the Emmitt shows up great!
Major - cool card - how much more rare is that back?
Sandman - picked up a few balls?! Top 3 modern players of popularity - PSA/DNA!! Well you can't do any better! Congratulations.
Peetie - really nice Matty auto!
thanx for showing this stuff guys
mike
The card looks great - what grade do you think it will get?
Going thru cards, and putting them to the 10X test - I realized that I have very few true 9 cards.
E.g. - I looked at a really nice 59T Frank Torre card that at first glance looked like a solid 8 - but under the loupe? Maybe a 6!
This is tuff stuff guys
good luck
mike
