McCovey rookies in PSA 8 condition are becoming harder & harder to find. The super centered ones are being hoarded. I was happy to pick up this one, even though it could be centered a little better.
Finally nabbed these boxes at a pretty good price (I believe). Seems these OPC boxes are getting really hard to find. I have yet to get any 91's as they have gotten ridiculously expensive recently. Last eBay auction sold at $120 a box. So I am happy to have gotten all 4 of these boxes at around $160.
My Dad worked for Holman Moody racing for 40+ years. I never knew this limited edition book existed until I saw it on Ebay recently. Kind of cool to see his autograph next to Bobby Allison, Fred Lorenzen and a bunch of other folks. Only 250 ever made.
Looking to buy/trade for any Holman Moody (NASCAR) related items you may have.
I love this thread. Too bad it doesn't get bumped up as much as it should.
That is one heck of a Ryan. I say you should crack out and send to PSA. I think that's a for sure 9. Especially if that 71 looks that good through a scan. You can't lose.
Got this one back today. Very happy to have it slabbed now so it can rest comfortably with my other graded cards. I originally scanned this one on this thread before I got it graded. Now I have a signed/auto and unsigned buyback graded. I have 2 more out so once I get those back, it will be 2 signed and 2 unsigned slabbed. I just wish that PSA would include the number 07/33 on their labels to make them more distinct.
Speaking of Barry Sanders, I just received this back from PSA. It is a beautiful card aesthetically and this one has outstanding centering for such small borders.
Here is another recent Starting Lineup card I had graded. To think these were subject to being unprotected in SLU packaging and remained in good shape is amazing.
This is George Brett's only Minor League card and a pop 4 with only 10 graded. Another very aesthetically pleasing photo and card design.
This is my favorite, I have been waiting for quite a while for a PSA 9 example and for this to be self-submitted even makes it even sweeter.
Dialj, that is quite impressive, best of luck finding those two. The time, effort and funds to put that together is beyond comprehension! To think that many were subjected to being carried back from overseas and many boxes disposed of makes it even more impressive.
Well now I am all in ... looks like this is a 20 card set ... going to take a while and I need to find the checklist or just wait until I get 5 and sub them to start a new registry set.
Bo Knows this card is awesome
Looking for a Glen Rice Inkredible and Alex Rodriguez cards

I was really excited to add this little guy to my modest-yet-growing prewar baseball collection:

That Ice Bowl ticket is awesome! Any idea why it came back as Authentic vs. a number grade?

Great cards tsalems! Off centered or not.
<< <i>Is the Mantle MC instead of OC because there is no/ very little border? They look good otherwise. >>
I think so.
Here is another Palmer Rc. Great centering but not as sharp. Still a GREAT card.
Would love to get this Koufax in a 8 holder!!!!!!!

Over 2600 cards graded and only 2 PSA 10's!
This set is very difficult to find in high grade. There are only 77 PSA 9's!
Here is 1 of the 2 PSA 10's!
Here a few recent additions...
Picked this up at the flea market for cheap:
Not a football guy but I always liked the way he played the game.
