When you wrote that "No One" bid on the auction i took it literally. That is i thought that maybe you did not see that 'someone " had indeed bid on the card. many here had no idea that a 56(or whatever yr it was) pack goes for 5000.00 (I sure as hell did not) many may have thought that the last time you looked the auction had NO BIDS. Im sure my friend Mike thought the same thing. So when he said that "someone" etc it was to provide info NOT to mock you or anyone.
I think the intention of this thread has gone south. The only way to find out if any of NEDSK stuff is good is if we hear personally from someone, that we know on the boards here that actually bought something form him and said it was ok. You could e-mail a previous buyer, but unless you know them how do you know that they are not part of the scam to get him a good rating?
I have only read some of the posts about Nedsk the last couple weeks but, in my opinion, the odds of him being legit are basically ZERO. Anybody that bids on his auctions how, with all the info that has come to light, is an idiot. You are throwing away money in my opinion. You are bidding on something semi-rare and maybe you get it for a good price but ultimately if it seems to good to be true.... Best of luck to the people who did bid but I think you have been had.
For what it's worth - packCollector is a helpful and knowledgeable collector, and a very reliable source of information regarding unopened packs and vintage material. You guys are off base with any negative comments about him.
Mike is a great poster and nice guy as well - I wouldn't make more of this than it is.
And, if anyone thinks nedsk isn't at least partially trying to run a scam, they're crazy.
Not sure if this was mentioned earlier, but I won one of the boxes at $1,125 and sent my payment by check. I then subsequently saw the neg feedback and called Ned last night. He was very cautious at first wanting to know what the call was in reference to, and once I explained why I was calling, he was more open.
He claims that he is selling the unopened wax boxes (there were more than just the 75 minis) and vintage packs for someone else. He claims to be very frustrated and apologized for any inconvenience he has caused all bidders and winners. I informed him that I was stopping payment on my check and please do not attempt to cash it as it will incur additional charges for him.
Do I believe him? I'm a pretty easy going guy, but I think he is not truthful. My basic thought behind this is that 4 boxes which were previously put up for sale had been completely opened and did not get a bid. The entire case, in my opinion, was opened and the 8 boxes reconstituted and rewrapped.
He claims that he has not received any complaints or negative feedback from any other wax boxes he has listed and sold from this individual, and as such, claims to be confused why the 75s could have been bad.
Hope that helps anyone thinking of bidding on this sleer's auctions.
Hello, This is Ryan Rutter with Wax From The Past. One of my User ID's is psa10gold. I initially purchased the 1958 Football wax pack from nedsk. When I received it, I was completely surprised because it was totally legit. Actually, it was the nicest '58 FB pack we've ever had! But I still thought that this guy was too good to be true. All of this prime product at once from someone we've never heard of - no way! So, I decided to give it another go and purchase the 1958 Baseball wax pack. I haven't received it yet, but have my doubts. I need some type of backbone to get this guy kicked off of eBay since we've been in the unopened market for years and all this guy's auctions are doing is bringing down the price of unopened and scaring potential customers and bidders away from the business. I can just imagine when people start receiving their garbage; there may be a group of people going on a hunt if you know what I mean! We 've been in the unopened business since 1980. We exhibit at all the major conventions nationwide and have done the National for years. Mark Murphy and I used to set up together for years and if you attended any major show, you've probably met us with some of the nicest unopened product out there. For us to spend $600 on a pack to get a guy kicked off of eBay and to save future business of many dealers, including us, isn't much money. I've realized that eBay is a dumping ground for resealed product and scams as well, but this nedsk guy has gone too far! He doesn't return any of our e-mails and has gone to private bidding in his auctions. These types of people disgust me. Like Steve Hart, we also authenticate older unopened for free. Our website is being upgraded but feel free to view it at waxfromthepast.com or give us a call at the number below. Our next show is Sportsfest in about a week and a half and we'll be buying all older unopened product, as always! Just thought we'd become members and let the community know that there are still some legitimate and professional dealers out there, unlike this nedsk individual. Thank you, -Ryan Rutter, Wax From The Past, Cleveland, OH, (614)946-4000, PSA Authorized Dealer, GAI Authorized Dealer, eBay User ID's: waxfromthepast, psa10gold

I would hate to lose someone on these forums who can offer us their knowledge in a paticular area over something that has been blown out of proportion. I think people tend to bite back a little to much and need to relax. We are here to share our thoughts and knowledge and have some good heated discussion. We need to just not make it personal.
Thank you. It's great to see a dealer that is willing to help control the number of scammers out there.
Whatever the real facts, nedsk selling for himself or a friend, there is a problem with much of his product and no one should give him their business other than that required to take him out.
I reported him to ebay and I suggest you all do the same. The quicker he gets booted the better.
And thanks for the back-handed compliment mud, and I'm still not sure what a troll is. Did you think I lived under a bridge and ate babies? Anywho, you're one of the nicest jerks around. (For those of you who take offense to this, it's a joke. Cause see how I gave him a back-handed compliment back? Get it? Get it?).

Hi Guys I did appreciate the support but as Packcollector had said - this may be getting out of hand.
We are all here to share info and in actuality there has been only rare outbursts in months.
I can see how pack construed the "no one" just bid....remark - I was actually directing that at the seller and my distaste for people getting reamed. Again, I do apologize for not being clear - it was not my intention.
I do appreciate experienced input on a topic likes packs - which I know less than zero - and would hate to see Pack run off by something I inadvertently created.
And finally, I want to thank Ryan from Waxfromthepast for coming on board - welcome!
Ryan I have done business, on and off, with Mark Murphy over the last 13 yrs. - this includes late 70's wax, vending etc. - both retail and auction and they don't come any better. I will be looking at your web.
Just an update for those not watching closely. The first negative to pop up due to the 75 mini wax box mentioned by a poster to this forum who bought it. Of course we have no idea what the packs were really like but this is interesting drama unfolding.
Buyer tallanbuynsell **BUYERS BEWARE*UNOPENED WAX BOX I RECEIVED TAMPERED WITH! I WAS REFUSED REFUND! Reply by nedsk: Box was untampered with and buyer is unaware as to real unopened material.
waxfromthepast, you said your first '58 FB pack was legit and you have another on the way, with results yet unknown. A couple of pillars in the hobby said they had fine dealings with this seller. Is he sprinkling some legit stuff in with the resealed? Or maybe just giving the good stuff to hobby names he recognizes?
I'm interested in showing this "nedsk" that we all mean business! I wish to have the remaining 75 Topps Mini Wax Packs that I purchased from "nedsk" inspected by a professional and prove once and for all that they are in fact resealed packs. No one should scam someone and then blame the victim of not recognizing unopened material or that the victim was mad because they had to pay more for the item than others had to pay??? This is a matter of upholding honesty, integrity, and good ethical business practices! If the experts that have indicated they would inspect and authenticate wax packs for free would please e-mail me at tab007ebb@msn.com I'm ready Anyone that knows anything about a wax pack could recognize these as reseals......that's how sure I am about this! .......I hope you read this "nedsk" your finished on eBay under that ID......you just don't know it yet
Why continue this vein ? Pack said his part and made peace as far as Mike is concered. Why keep it going ? It seems some enjoy the fighting....... As for myself i will miss Packs contributions and come to this board as well as the vintage (prewar) net 54 because there is usually good discussions and not the BullSh1t that goes on elsewhere.
I almost bid on several of the 1965 football packs but backed off after reading this thread. It's a heck of a gamble for $400 (which is a steal if they are truly unopened).

Why keep it going? Obviously Kuntryboy is a troll. The more you respong to his trolling, the more he will continue. I know Packcollector (D_) personally, and he knows packs as well as anyone. Since his posts are now deleted it is moot to continue the bashing, and posting. Remember almost a year ago when Pack said he was done posting? There was 30 or so replies who told him to stay. From what I gather reading the posts, he said nobody or specifically "no one" bid. If the pack was worth 5k and went for 600 I would qualify that as "No one". It is like a card going for 1/10 (one tenth) of SMR. Someone knows it is a fraud, fake, trimmed or whatever....In a literal sense yes "no one", or "nobody", as you should write means just that, 0 people. In a slang it could be very few people, or less than expected. Observe:
Dick "Did you go to the club last night?" Jane "Yeah, the was like...'no one' there"
Evidently Jane was there. So was "there like...." somebody there? I am sure people were there, just not enough as expected, or enough for acknowledgement.
<< <i>I know Packcollector (D_) personally, and he knows packs as well as anyone. >>
And you would know this how? Because he told you that? Kid you don't have the hobby knowledge or experience to even remotely make that determination. Packcollector is a hobby novice that likes to pretend to be an expert. He is a nobody just like you.
Packcollector was totally in the wrong for calling out probably the most helpful member of this board. He didn't even sincerely apologize to Stone. Packcollector lacks class and by sticking up for him you just come across as a complete joke.
Well........for all of you that would like to get back on topic
I have sent a few of these alleged unopened 1975 Topps Mini Wax Packs from the box I purchased from "nedsk" via ebay to Ryan (waxfromthepast) and Steve (baseball card exchange). They were both kind enough to offer their expert opinion on the wax packs that I'm 100% positive are resealed wax packs. A second and third opinion from these experts will hopefully go a long way in confirming just what this "nedsk" is offering on his ebay auctions!
Makes me feel embarrassed to be a part of these forums. Some people seem like they just want to take jabs at other people on this board and stir the pot. People just can't seem to let things go and get back to the original theme of things.
