Just wanted to notify everyone that miracles do happen! I received a full refund check from Ned (nedsk) including the cost of s/h! I banked the check yesterday and will know by Friday if it clears my account. I've been told by a very reliable source that my refund from Ned will in fact clear my account. This would certainly bring a most unexpected twist to this thread.

Great news for you! Let's hear it "for all of us" that complained, sent emails, contacted seller, a few did a "free third party" examination confirming "re-packed wax material", lets hear it for that individual that risked ebay sanctions and personally took the time to email winning bidders that they were going to get "ripped-off" with re-packed wax and lets hear it for the PSA message board that produced well over 500 postings about this seller's recent activities.
Maybe it took a combination of all the above for this seller to refund harmed buyers, I don't know.
Congrats to everyone who posted here, because I'm sure it helped in some way, to secure these refunds!
The refund check I received from Ned (nedsk) cleared my account thus ending my most unfortunate eBay experience on a positive note. A most unexpected but welcome result in a saga that spanned 3 months.
I would like to thank everyone for perpetuating this thread despite a few reluctant viewers that felt this thread should have died long ago. I believe that several that participated in this thread helped in some little way in getting a positive outcome for many individuals (including myself) that had a negative transaction in late May/early June with the seller nedsk.
I'm certain that the collective thoughts of many can and did have an impact on a negative situation such as this one.
Those that use the PSA Message Board clearly demonstrated that this forum can have influence on outside transactions. I've found it to be a wonderful safeguard from fraudulent and mis-leading sellers.
I would highly recommend all who may be uncertain about a certain seller to visit the PSA Message Board. It certainly might save some potential grief or loss in many instances. There is a wealth of knowledge out there to be tapped. Not all of it true.....LOL, but certainly enough of it IS to help guide most in the right direction!

Steve,
With all do respect, I bid 10-40K per month, I have not had a bid retraction in months, so please stop being a dickhead, ok?
rbd
P.S. As far as I can recall you were not involved with any Nedsk dealing, I was (i.e for $1500 "wax")! All you did was post your butt-off about other's dealings and "your two cents". You seemed to enjoy "stirring the pot", that's ok, but just do not "stir it in my direction". Thanks
Hey Ned hasn't had a negative either.......and what does 10k- 40k have to do with bid retractions? furthermore why did you even bother to bring this thread back from the dead? to ridicule ned? possibly those that wanted to see how it had played out back then? Dick head? sheesh a lil touchy are we?
Remember nedsk? I just wanted to give all a heads-up here:
This guy is accumulating a bunch of 1967 Topps raw cards. NEDSK
I want everyone to be on the lookout for 1967 Topps wax for sale in the not to distant future!
I hope I'm wrong and this guy nedsk just wants to accumulate raw 1967 topps material (plus he's accumulating some other dates, i.e., 1978 topps, also...)! Who knows?
Let us just all keep an eye out for this guy! I do not want to see anyone else get burnt from him! So watch out for 1967 bogus wax!
So all you "wax people" out there, and fellow collectors, please be warned and be careful, and lets keep a "watchful eye" out on this one.
edit: Maybe there is a good reason that this post never does die, OTHER THAN ME KEEPING IT SO? LOL!
rbd
p.s. remember: nedsk was accumulating (it was either 1957 or 1958?) a bunch 50's topps raw, and then all of a sudden, he sold some bad 50's wax packs, not to mention all those bad '75 wax material that initiated this thread to begin with! (plus: let's not forget all those bad BU original silver dollar rolls he sold last summer!)...
Good eye, that is quite a lot of 67s there, hopefully he has learned his lesson from before, but who knows? Keep us updated, I will also keep an eye out for 67s wax.
nedsk is still on ebay cuz he made refunds to those that bought "bad items" The guy also sold many good items. he was in over his head selling a large collection. I guess the deal was he had to take it all or nothing.
FWIW he also sold the best 58 wax pack that Ryan (Mr 100% accurate ) claims he ever saw. And had graded by GAI
Is it possible that maybe the guy is just collecting the 67 set raw?
Hey Robert I noticed that your retractions are slowly but surely going down. Good job.

Hello Steve,
You want to balance out this thread? You spent a lot of time and energy "balancing out this thread" already! You've been giving this guy the "benefit of the doubt" for a while now, but he ripped fellow card collectors on "re-wrapped" high priced vintage wax. Plus, while I'm not involved in collecting "original BU coin rolls", he seemed to have sold a number of "not sooooo original BU silver dollar rolls", also on ebay, ripping-off coin collectors there.
As far as giving refunds? Well, my spin, he was "put to the wall" and was forced to give those refunds, maybe in fear of legal action, or maybe even possible criminal action against him?
Steve, I'll tell you what, you balance out this thread (again!) and say he may be just a collector of "raw 1967 material";
...and I will continue to monitor nedsk's accumulation of vintage raw material. I will not feel bad at all being wrong, but if he (nedsk or him as some other alias!) does attempt to sell "vintage re-wraps", maybe we here, can "head him off at the pass".
Steve, don't forget, someone was kind enough to warn me not to complete my $1500 '75 wax box transaction with this guy. I was lucky! If I can do the same for another hobbyist, good for me! And if nedsk, turns out to be just another fellow innocent raw card collector, then so be it!
But, I see the glass "half empty" (i.e., ...A guy now just selling some "nickel and dime" material, building up another "positive record", and a guy buying-up lots of low cost raw vintage material, and again, building-up positive feedback, and what's next, with all that vintage raw stuff? Will he find a "home for all those empty "vintage wax wrappers and empty wax boxes" that I'm sure he owns?)....
At least I can warn everyone that "nedsk's glass may still be half empty"???
You keep us informed regarding nedsk I agree that is a good job for you.
You want to balance out this thread? You spent a lot of time and energy "balancing out this thread" already!
And I will continue to do so everytime you drag this thread up from the dead.
Like you I am entitled to an opinion regarding this whole incident.
as a matter of fact I unlike you was here from its onset. I didn't just drop in the middle of it and start making wild accusations like you did. (On the basis of an anonymous email.
As far as giving refunds? Well, my spin, he was "put to the wall" and was forced to give those refunds, maybe in fear of legal action, or maybe even possible criminal action against him?
That is a lot of "maybe's" Robert you have any proof besides what you think? err what you want to spin? as you say?
Listen, and hopefully for the last time. Nedsk got in over his head.
I doubt very much that someone could be held criminally liable for selling "unopened" product on ebay when NO ONE can prove 100% that it was in fact opened. NOT EVEN RYAN (see his mea culpa)
<< <i>P.S. As far as I can recall you were not involved with any Nedsk dealing, I was (i.e for $1500 "wax")!
Oh so that allows you to post here but not me?
BTW Robert did you retract you're bid or just renege on the deal?

edit: P.S. Steve, are you really a first class jerk or what? Here I am tryin' to put up a possible red flag against a known rip-off artist that prayed on fellow wax collectors, some of his victums were posters right here on CU. And all you can do is defuse and confuse the issue with your, "benefit of the doubt" and your, "I want to balance out this thread out cr@ppola" of yours! Steve, enough already!
Actually Robert I think it is time you kissed off.
FYI A few posters here also got great deals too.
Now in the above post you shot your mouth off claiming you had a 1500.00 transaction with Nedsk and that allowed you to post and not me.
Now, today you say that luckily you got an email before hand.
So which is it? were you full of crap then? or now?
And did you retract the bid or did you just simply renege on thetransaction? In any case you have NO IDEA as to what you would have received. So why don't you stop it, like you promised everyone here 4 months ago. If you would like I can paste your nonsensical comments here.
I think it's worth keeping an eye out for potential big time scammers such as this. Remember Toniscards wherever the heck he is now. The degree to which Nedsk was a scammer can be debated, but in my view Nedsk should be classified as a scammer. Reviewing his current buying pattern does suggest he "could" be getting ready for another round of scams. I agree...worth keeping the thread alive.

As long as you brought this up - take a look at this!!!
He got negged for this - well I can see why? The only thing I know about coins is that they will fit in vending machines!
But look at this stack? The first two look pretty good but the rest which you can't see - isn't it a bit obvious?
Ya gotta stay away from this one even if you are blind!
Unless of course it were free and you use them for paper weights!
