All the Cowboys, Bucs and Falcons players will be at home watching our Eagles in the S-U-P-E-R-B-O-W-L !!!!!!!!!!
To all you Cowboys, Bucs and Falcons fans - enjoy the Eagles - you are witnessing football history - the start of a dynasty - one day when your grandchildren are sitting on your lap you can happily tell them that you personally witnessed the beginning of the greatest football dynasty of all time. You can tell them bedtime stories about the great Donovan McNabb, the great Terrell Owens along with the rest of this great Eagles team.
<< <i>Mcnabb is most over rated in nfl. He is biggest choke artist. Vick is the most exciting player in the nfl besides vinny! vinny just a step faster then vick! >>
Greatest dynasty ever was the 90's cowboys 3 out 4 years superbowl champs! steelers of 70's and now the patriots. no way eagles can even be mentioned in that. If you want to mention the eagles with another team its the bills 4 straight chokes!!
Good game against a QB that can change the momentum quickly. Luckily Favre doesn't have the team around him this year as in past years, or at least they are not performing as they should.
A question for Eagles season ticket holders or anyone in the know. Do season ticket holders get the chance to buy additional playoff tickets (more than they have rights to already)?
The wife and I are planning to fly to Philly again this year for the playoffs. We're looking for two first level seats for both games, preferably club level. This has become our annual vacation rather than heading to the Caribbean.
Ebay has some listings already for playoff tickets but I would like to look at all the options.
That, dear friends, is called a "statement game" - as in, all the NFC pretenders take notice, this is not your daddy's Eagles team. You NFC South supporters can delude yourselves all you want, but you want no part of the Eagles this January. Save it for another season.
And some analysts thought the Eagles might lack motivation yesterday because they clinched the East so early
TALK TO SOON STEVE! THINK THE EAGLES CAN STOP THIS RUNNING BACK?? LIKE TO UP MY BET? IF YOU GUYS BEAT US AGAIN ILL PUT AN EAGLE LOGO IN MY ICON UNTIL SUPERBOWL! IF WE WIN ITS BREAK EVEN BET! WHAT DO YOU SAY STEVE K 1420 SOFLPHILLYFAN?

Im not saying this is the reason for those stats or not but is it possible that those backs teams fell behind early and had to throw the ball more than usual ? Not sure just asking
Trotter has made a huge difference against the run. He is injury free, in great shape, hungry attitude, and playing like the Trotter of several years ago. A terrific re-signing by Andy Reid.
Jones running style will give Trotter some problems but the Eagles know this and Jimmy Johnson will come up with a defensive scheme to contain Jones. Jones will get some yards, possibly over 100, but the Eagles will still easily win the game coming up in two weeks against Dallas.
KOBEcollector - I think the others nailed it - but I agree that the Eagles ability to jump out to huge leads and effectively take away the opposition's run game certainly helps a lot. Especially when the runner isn't much of a hybrid run/pass RB (like Westbrook or Pittman), it's tough to get the ground game going when you're down by 2-3 TDs.
edited to add - The Trotter move was *huge* ... he's really been playing some inspired ball.
I have wheeled and dealed and acquired some tickets. Two for the Bengals, Divisional playoff, and NFC Championship. All seats are in C25, row 11 (15 yard line). Club seats with access to the Club Lounge.
All are for sale. They are pricey but hard to get. Prices are about the going Ebay price, but lower than a ticket broker.
If you are interested e-mail me at kdenning128@comcast.net.
Don't worry I will be at one of the games. Probably at the Division game sitting 25 rows up on the 35 yard line, section 121.
Absolutely yes - This was a game that only excellent football teams win. With a big win against the Pack and looking ahead to the Cowboys, and with a Joe Gibbs Redskins team that was really up for this game, this could have easily been a "sandwich" game type loss for the Eagles. But instead was a win. I still believe that was a major reason for the Eagles bad loss to the Steelers - they were looking ahead to Dallas that week.
Now the 2nd game with Dallas is here and we are going to crush them! Kuhlmann and Cowboys fans this Sunday be afraid, be very afraid!
What is normally one of the biggest NFC East games of the year coming up this Sunday, and there's as much activity on this thread as a Scott Peterson "Welcome Home" party. Wonder why?
If Carolina beats Atlanta in the earlier game, Eagles will clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs and this game would technically be meaningless. No doubt the Eagles will still win the game even if it happens to be meaningless because, well because it's against Dallas. The Eagles didn't shut it down until very late in their blowout game against Green Bay so the same thing might happen here. With these possible scenarios it's tough to predict the final score, but again no question the Eagles will win.

They will be playing down your way anyway, so spend your money on the Super Bowl.

sounds good to me
You're on!
11/15 @ Dallas - George, 39 yards, 1 TD
11/21 vs. Redskins - Portis, 37 yards, 0 TD
11/28 @ Giants - Tiki 110 yards, 0 TD
12/5 vs. Packers - Green, 37 yards, 0 TD
I wouldn't be so quick to think JJ is gonna suddenly run wild over the Eagles D, especially at home ...
The only game the Eagles truly could not stop the run was against Pittsburgh.
