Guess Penn State should have been ranked higher - or Boise should have been ranked lower. If Ohio States beats Oregon tomorrow then the "Powers to be" rankings are worthless.

PSU tried their best to lose that game and finally broke it open. Could have just thrown the ball to Warren all day or run the ball since every PSU lineman was better than their counterpart. Not shocking that Jenty was shut down against a real team

If its a not so great conference than why did they have a winning record against the B!G during the regular season before opt outs?

Last I looked, the season isn't over. No Heisman candidates. 6-5 in Bowl games. That's... not great.

Do you post here just to run up your post count?? You seem to say so much that doesn't make sense.

Season is over for non playoff teams. Take a look at the draft and what teams were missing.

Guarantees two BIG TEN teams in the semifinals.

So Washington came back from two TD's down in the 4th quarter with 9 seconds in regulation. Their bonehead coach chooses to go for the win with a two point conversion, instead of kicking the extra point to tie the game at 35. I'll never understand why some coaches would rather roll the dice on a low percentage play, instead of giving their team a chance to win the game in OT? Idiots!!

Stevek….. are you sure you’re allowed to mention an individual team without announcing what conference they’re affiliated with and also announcing how superior that particular conference is in comparison to any and all other conferences in the United States?

That’s how everybody else does it anyway. 🤔

Steve…. gave you a well deserved like for your post. 👍

Alabama 5-4 in their last 9 games, 4-4 against FBS teams.

USC (CA) - 0-4 against B1G teams with 4+ conference wins, 2-0 vs SEC teams with 5+ conference wins.

Tennessee had two significant injuries early in the game and as said the DC coached like a coward. They deserved to lose and anyone that knows anything about college football knows dropping 7 in prevent zones against the OSU WRs will just allow them to get open every time

Hopefully Milroe losing the game on his own will be enough for him not to be starting on Sundays but I fear that wont be the case, Theres already enough crappy NFL QBs that are starting because they dominated the combine.

All teams lose players to the new Transfer Portal and/or sit-outs who don't want to risk injury. What is a little disingenuous is to use that as a defense for a team's poor performance NOW when it was dismissed in the past because it suited your narrative.

Isn't it easier in the whole scheme of things to just admit some teams are better than other teams?? Does anyone here really believe that Tennessee had a better team than Ohio State?? Looking at all the games played so far in the CFP and using the rankings the higher ranked team has won every game. If that pattern follows, and there's no reason to believe it shouldn't, Texas will beat Arizona State, Oregon will beat Ohio State and Georgia will beat Notre Dame.

The fly in the ointment concerns the last two games: Oregon/Ohio State are quite closely matched, Georgia lost their starting QB to injury. Past that the games thus far have ended as they should have.

The OPI that wasn't called on Penn State has to be one of the top 10 worst non calls ever.

The supposed cheating was revealed in the middle of the season last year. Michigan beat Ohio State and won the CFP after the reveal. Try again.

Also, I don't care if Michigan filmed the sidelines of opponents.

Listen, the best team didn't win. Sure, the best team trailed entire game and allowed more points than they scored, and their coaches (who are part of the team, same as players) are terrible, but they are still the better team.

Dylan Sampson was injured immediately. He was the SEC offensive player of the year. White and Thornton both got hurt and left the game as well. Thats an additional three significant injuries during the game.

I do enjoy though that injuries, opt outs, and transfers only seem to matter if its for a team from the B!G instead of objective analysis of games

Interesting Peach Bowl playing out. If I only had the stats to look at I'd think ASU was dominating and they sort of are, except it's only between the 20's. They can't seem to figure out the Texas defense to punch it in. Field goals won't win it.

As the 3rd ranked team, Texas has looked ineffective on offense. Strange to think the game might be decided on the first 3 times the Longhorns touched the ball, two passes and a punt return. I can't believe they'll only score 17 points but the ASU defense has been up to the task after that start.

--- Every time I think of the "Sun Devils" I think of Rod Tidwell!! :p

Doinked it off the left upright. The announcer jinxed him - said "He hasn't missed from under 40 yards out all season" - Oops!

2 point conversion to go up by 8 - what a "gutsy" call by Texas.

Wow, what a game!! Arizona really fought but that Texas defense is tough and Golden is an incredible receiver.

Nice start for Ohio State! Although way too early for a 7-0 lead to stand up :D

Horns were saved by a massive brain fart by ASU. 4th and 13, and ASU blitzed!?!?!? Dumbest defensive call I have ever seen, and it cost ASU the game. That, or the massive check UT wrote earlier to avoid the most obvious targeting call in the history of targeting calls.

This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

Hell of a game finally an exciting game. ASU came in with the right attitude and made it exciting. Real good coach there too thats not really known
