I don't see the 100oz Pamp Silver bars this week, but they do have some Platinum this week that I almost ordered
1 oz Platinum Bar PAMP Suisse Lady Fortuna Veriscan (New in Assay)
Item 1848908 Price 999.99
SALES TAX for CA kept getting applied to the order. I contacted Costco about the 2000 exemption on Metals. They replied.
"You purchased non monetized bullion,
The state of California does not include Platinum in the description of non monetized precious metal bullion, the law only exempts gold and silver. I have included the definition and a link below to the California website.
"Nonmonetized bullion means gold or silver which has been smelted or refined and has a value dependent primarily upon its gold or silver content and not upon its form."
Since the State of California law does not call out platinum bullion, in the definition of non monetized bullion, it remains taxable."

I was hoping they would put those Platinum Maples back up at the lowered prices. I just received my executive reward certificate which I had to take to the store and convert to a Costco card so I could use on the website. Not sure why they don't honor the certificate directly on the site. Anyway, I am ready to order once back in stock. THKS!

I used to just get Cash at Costco with the rewards, is it true they no longer do that? If so, sounds like a cash card option is next best.

Correct, can only be used for purchases through their in-warehouse front end registers. can't even use for food court/gas. Luckily you are able to convert to their gift/shop card but must do so in person. I usually shop at the warehouse every couple of months so I would have been able to use there but my whole intention was to rack up the rewards to turn directly back into more metal. Did that for many years with eBay bucks, I sure do miss those. RGDS!

Last year was my first as an Executive member and I got cash. My check was just under $1000 - and naturally was not issued when it should have been. Went to customer service and they were going to put it on a gift card - said no thanks to that - and got cash. Hope that is the case this year as well - although I doubt I will max out as the metal deals are not quite as good...

Using The 2% Reward Certificate
"The Reward certificate is mailed with the Executive Member's annual renewal notice and mailed to the Primary Member. Rewards totaling less than $1 will not be sent. The Reward may be redeemed toward purchases of most merchandise through the front-end registers (not currently available at self-checkout) at Costco warehouses in the U.S. Reward certificates may not be used: (i) toward purchases that are not recorded through Costco's front-end registers, such as purchases at gas stations, Food Courts, and online at Costco.com; (ii) as payment on credit card accounts; (iii) on purchases of services, such as travel and auto; (iv) where prohibited by law or regulation; or (v) on certain other categories as determined at Costco's discretion, which may change without notice. Reward certificates may not be redeemed for cash. Reward certificates will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Regulatory restrictions on Rewards subject to change at any time."

Well the 100oz Bars never came back up, but I did get 100 of these instead which I prefer anyway to one heavy brick of silver

Nice, I was tempted but I am holding out for a Plat Maple and/or some of those elusive 10oz hunks or RCM gutter metal. I cashed in my executive certificate for a cash card so I could use online over a month ago. It's been burning a hole in my pocket ever since. Enjoy. RGDS!
