Hey @doubledragon, when you wake up Monday morning, please tell @stevek that, despite what happened tonight, the Cowboys are still going to beat the Eagles when they next play. Please...

DD last seen underneath his bed in a fetal position, wondering why he ever became a Panthers fan and a pretend Cowboys fan.

Looking at the cowboys upcoming schedule it looks like a 7-10 record is the best they can do.

Would love to see a pic of mustache jones during this butt kicking by SF

Wow! What a beat down. Never expected that.

I'd like to see one more 49er touchdown just to be on the safe side. 😐

That wasn't a game last night, it was a beatdown, same old Cowboys. @stevek, get my new avatar ready for me, I'll be needing it on November 5th.

I ain't counting any chickens yet. Fortunes in the NFL can turn on a dime.

There are of course always exceptions, but NFL teams are usually not as good as they look in a particular game, or as bad as they look.

Momentum can start or stop in the NFL at any time. Especially when even a slight injury to one key player in this violent game of football, could change the results of an entire season. Could work the other way, as a key player could finally heal up from a nagging injury, and begin to perform well again which benefits the entire team.

So as the old Chuck Berry song says, "You never can tell." 😉

So you're saying my Cowboys could still beat your Eagles and possibly even win our 6th Super Bowl, Mustache Jerry Jones likes your attitude, perhaps you might be interested in changing your allegiance to the Cowboys? We can always use a fan of your enthusiasm, and we won 3 Super Bowls in the 90s, so what say you, can Jerry count you in?

great point. one week the dolphins are scoring 70 and looking like world beaters. the next week they get plowed by buffalo, who the following week gets beat by Jacksonville.

Yes, but do you love Jerry enough to abandon your beloved Eagles and become a Cowboys fan? That's the kind of loyalty Jerry demands from you, betray your Eagles and join us, join us now Steve, or else face our wrath on November 5th, join us now!

Sorry, I can't stop saying it.

DD - I wish you would stop PMing me with the paltry five figure offers to cancel the avatar bet.

How about upping your offer to at least six figures, then we can start talking.

I wouldn't dare dream of canceling our bet, we're unstoppable, we destroyed the Chargers last night and the Rams and Eagles are next on our path of destruction!

You seem like a man that could use a winning team to root for, might I suggest the Dallas Cowboys, we won 3 Super Bowls in the 90s. Here you go, a good book about our great leader to get you started on your path to Cowboys fandom.

So a 3 point win is "we destroyed"? I think you might be viewing AI Jerry Jones too much.

Well I sometimes kid about Jerry Jones, but I actually love the guy. To illustrate the affection that i have for Jerry, if I saw he was drowning, I would throw him an anvil.

i don't think Dallas will ever win an SB with Dak, but i must admit -- he played pretty well last night. better than Justin Sherbet did. and the Dallas D was stout.....especially against Ekeler.

Dak made good throws at key times, and he didn't turn the ball over. i saw a bunch of errant flings from Sherbet and the game moved a fraction too fast for him on a number of plays. dude may be a smidge overrated.

i'm sure Skipper will show up to Undisputed without any underwear on this morning, but this is the same song and dance from Dallas: look good for a couple of weeks, then remind us who they truly are by way of losing to the moribund Cardinals or getting curb-stomped by the Niners.

A 3 point win, but nevertheless a win. Need I remind you, all it takes is 1 point and you may find yourself with a very undesirable avatar. 🤔

Ya know I was gonna do a pleasant friendly avatar for DD when the Eagles beat the Cowboys. But now I'm getting mad. So I'm gonna do the meanest nastiest avatar that i can think of.

I can personally guarantee there won't be any pics of Jerry, Dak, or anyone else ever associated with the Cowboys, in your new avatar.

I might even after the Cowboys lose, allow you to choose from two avatars, and whichever one you choose, I'll say you have to use the other one. 😎

You're very confident in your Eagles, I respect that, and I'm very confident in my Cowboys. Jerry will do whatever it takes to to win, even if it means cutting back costs, he's done it before!

I was hopeful of another Cowboys loss today. But then I looked at the line.

The Cowboys are 17 point favorites against the Giants. Good grief!

Maybe the refs will make the Cowboys play blindfolded, to give the Giants a chance?

It's been a while since I studied math, so I'm not sure about this.

But I think 8-1 is better than 6-3

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,167 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well so far, the Giants are doing better than previously getting shut-out against the Cowboys in that 40-0 game.

At least in this game, the Giants have scored some points. 😆
