Will start it out with Stan the Man. Even though I am a Cubs fan, I think his cards are way under/priced. Should be a tick below Mays and Aaron.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to contribute to the March madness Pick-Ups...my card cash is running a little low right now...
Such a nice pickup. Good start to March!
Brad...
Beautiful Stan the Man! Congrats!
Some might see greater value over Aaron and Mays given the years Musial played without having a card issued. The 1953 Bowman Musial is a classic... while it seems readily available, it just has a great look.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Here's another vintage pickup I made. This is my first HOF none Pirate T206. I feel the card has very nice eye appeal even with the creases.
That Mathewson is beautiful. Love the color on it. Congrats.
Great looking 1.5 for sure. Congrats.
short funds due to some medical issues but was able to pick up a couple of cards .
Gorgeous Stan!
My first AROD of the month is a nice low numbered Pacific
Still working through the Master set
Topps' Throwback Thursday has a new Star Wars set run - 3 per week
I like the simple design - so I decided to add it to my PC - here's the first 3:
Card shop pickup
Nice surprise finding this Nellie Fox signed Postcard, mixed in with a 80's/90's Jumbo Donruss, Big Topps, postcard Lot.
AND in a Colt 45's uniform.
Star Wars cards are cool!
I think that Matty is exactly what such a card should look like. Natural and stunning. Odd time, perhaps, to bring this up, by wouldn't it be "nicer" if PSA would put "Authentic/Unaltered" on such cards rather than a grade? Who wants to wear a shirt that says "Poor" or "Fair" on it? Like anything below a VG 3. Maybe that's an option--I don't know.

Fast start to March....aaaaaaaand I'm done, Lol
Edited to add: Numerically, Mathews is an 8, Doc is a 9. Crispy and clean!

What are we Throwing Back to? Because they look very little like '52 Topps.
Good point….Exactly which Star Wars set prior to 1977 do you think they should have Thrown It Back to look like???

Neither do '52 Topps Heritage but most forgave them.

These popped last night…they’re all for sets that I continue to work on. A pretty nice looking batch:

@1951WheatiesPremium Fabulous stuff… thanks for sharing.

They are "throwbacks" for baseball designs applied to Star Wars. So sets #1-4 are '52 Tops, set #5 (probably through#8) are '84 design now. (https://www.topps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=+throwback+thursday+star+wars)
These were February pickups but just got around to scanning them.

Pretty great centering on that ‘65 Mantle; not easy to find for that card. Incidentally, that was my first Mickey Mantle card.
(I still have it. 😁)

Here is a POP 1 - no others. A last year purchase I forgot to share.
I think it is an error card - no way an autographed Clemente is a double - it should be a home run!!
Got it!!!!

I have been trying to track down a good copy of this card for awhile:
That Clemente Auto is off the charts!
Almost got lucky on a cheap Louisiana Lightning rookie, but sadly it has a wrinkle. I’d more or less given up on finding a perfectly centered copy with no ink smudge.
A nice one came in today!
Wow! That's incredible!
Picked these up
Been away from the board for a few months. I guess these go back from about December through to this week.
Wrestling - Danielson - Storm - Tajiri
purchased it in February but just delivered from Authenticity Guarantee.

Landed these two tough ticket stubs at great prices. It really is a buyers market. The first one is from Joe Namath's last game ever played. The second ticket is from Jerry Lucas and Dave DeBusschere's last game. Both were voted top 50 NBA players of all time, and members of the 75th anniversary team. Lucas, who was a standout at Ohio State is known as one of the best rebounders in NBA history averaging over 15 a game. The ticket is the only graded example that exists. And the 3rd picture is a rare Jimmy Connors rookie card.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!

For the Bears PC...part of the Bears backfield with Walter Payton for many years.
Holy Cow, Batman. How in the world did you ever find an 81 Fleer that's a 10? Those things are the worst-centered things ever made. I just opened a box over the weekend on a lark I picked up a while ago and I don't think there were 6 cards in there with good centering.
Seriously. Nice card. I love McCovey and I believe his cards are so underappreciated.
I am now half way on my 57 HOF set.

The colors pop on that Banks. Looks great for the grade. Love seeing all the Chicago cards you post.
Thank you brad. I was looking for a low to mid grade copy that didn't look like a total beater. This one looked great for a 3.5 and was priced right for my budget. Had centering and corner issues I could live with...lol.
Agreed about McCovey. I was stoked to find the 10 to go with the raw example in my SFG binders. When I saw it pop up for auction I thought for sure I'd have more competition for it. Turns out I either just got lucky or I over valued it in my bid. Doesn't really matter to me either way as I'm ecstatic to add this one to the collection.
A pick-up at a really small card show.
picked these up yesterday . not sure when but the strip mall the card shops in may be slated to be torn down to build a condo .

This beautiful card is headed west and, having seen the others, I do believe it will return as a single top pop PSA graded card. I have gushed over the card once before and I’m delighted to share this example here with you guys and I simply can’t wait for it to be encapsulated by the best in the business and safely returned.

Scanner is back up and functional again after being down for several months. I hope that I am not posting cards again (having previously used scans from seller)...if so, I apologize. Here are relatively recent pick ups...I know the 1974 Aaron has never been posted since it is a PWCC purchase.
