yesterday was a blur but i managed to add on to my existing parlay before the lines went wonky

this is going to sound cocky, arrogant and thus potentially detrimental to my bet, but dangle free money in my face and i'm gonna take it

my momma didn't raise no stoopnagle

I'm doing this but adding in adjusted lines with Chargers vs Jax

Im.going to do two separate bets, 1 with Chargers + points and another with Jax getting points.

Not sure the exacts just yet though, but I feel overly confident with SF/Buffalo/Cincy

6 seeds are 7-1 last 8 playoffs. If you’re looking for upsets
Giants played Minnesota very tough and lost on a 61 yard field goal.

Wild card weekend always brings out upsets.
Brady 9-0 vs Cowboys and 3-0 vs Dak.

Jacksonville spanked the Chargers 38-10 at Sofi early this season. It’s going to be in the 50’s Saturday night in Jacksonville.

I don’t see the Ravens beating Cincinnati but with Brown they lost 27-16 with 3 turnovers. If the Ravens can channel the 2002 Ravens defense and run the ball this game could be a lot closer than people think. Yes Cincinnati is rolling but something tells me this game is a sleeper.

In this scenario, are you going by the idea that the Cowboys are favored, or that the Bucs (in a vacuum inside of my head) should be favored? Meaning, are you saying that the Bucs may very well beat the boys, or vice versa?

But I really don’t see how any of those 3 teams could lose next weekend.

With you on those 3. I tied them in with some top 20 player finishes in the Sony Open this weekend.

think about the journey involved to reach the promised land. take any team with 4-figure odds and ask yourself, "do they realistically have a chance to string 4 consecutive wins together, with multiple victories over the likes of Kansas City, Buffalo, Cincinnati, San Francisco, and Philadelphia being required? throughout the season, have ANY of those teams shown a propensity to accomplish such a feat?"

i don't know about anyone else, but i can immediately eliminate Dallas, LAC, Tampa, Minny, Baltimore, Jack, NY, Miami, and Seattle and feel very good about it

From a mathematical odds stand point SF is on a 10 game winning streak. That worries me from the viewpoint that the streak will continue. But you stay with them until it ends. I see we are all in agreement with the 3 picks of SF,Cinn, Buff. Hope they,SF, can get at least one more. Luck to all.

What a reversal of fortune Sunday at the Sentry. Colin 6 stroke lead going into the final round. Rahm completed the charge. I had neither going. Never a sure thing in golf even with a big lead. It's hard to string 2 day leads in a row much less 3 or a 4 day wire-wire. The Tiger days are over. Sympathies to any Colin backers who loaded up on him for a Sunday win. That's one thing I like about golf. Success lies within one player. No one can cover for you like in a team sport when you are having trouble. Well on to the next tourney. It's a long season so my fellow players pace yourself. There is always next week.

it was a 28-3-esque type of collapse. when Rahm bogeyed his first hole of the final round, he was NINE back of Morikawa. the rest is (infamous) history.

i think CM will be just fine, however. his bugaboo has been the flat stick, so the fact that he was leading the field in strokes gained: putting thru the first 3 rounds bodes well for him in '23. he's too talented to allow this to adversely affect him for long.

JT languished the entire tournament and i lost my first golf bet of the year. back on the horse this week.

who you got at the Sony?

I tied in my 3 football bets with 5 golfers to finish in the top 20. Then I wait until Saturdays finish to jump back in for a few win bets on Sunday. I always throw out the favorite going into Sunday and look for a leader collapse. Especially if has led 2-3 rounds.

to say that i feel fortunate to have won those parlays is the understatement of 2023 thus far. i will never use the term "free money" again. i could practically sense a text coming from some random number if the bills and/or bengals had lost.

"hey sucka, you know what's free? your momma."

but in all seriousness, kudos to the short-handed Dolphins and Ravens. clearly they didn't get the memo that they stood no chance of winning, and both of those teams fought their tails off. either could have EASILY won.

i'm planning on parking some dinero on Cowboys-Buccaneers tomorrow night, but first i'm gonna sleep on it and i'd also like to read what you guys are feeling.

I like TOMPA but that's only because I feel its hard to bet against Brady in the playoffs especially since it looks like he decided to trust Mike Evans again but let's look at it from the basics

    Tampa Bay has been awful

Dallas has looked pretty good until they lost a meaningless game against the Redskins

I would bet Dallas ML or TOMPA + say 7.5?

So this is how hard it is to win a buck in the sports betting world……..

For Galaxy to not win $1, this had to happen. Gonzaga’s home winning streak of 76 straight games would have to be snapped. In addition to their streak of 83 straight wins over non ranked opponents.
    So what happened? ⚡️☄️💥
    They lost 🤕

So glad I don’t have an online account because after my parlay loss Wednesday I would have been in heavy on a Purdue, Gonzaga, Arizona parlay.

    Funny story

I got a hundred burning a hole in my DK app that I was saving for Sunday, last night I'm putting together a 5 team CBB parlay, all favorites and Gonzaga was in there Ofcourse but I couldn't decide on what other games to put in there and my girl started screaming at me from upstairs so I got distracted with a few errands she "Needed" done right away and when I was finished I forgot about the parlay so she saved me a $100 🤟

I watch almost every zag game. That one was not on root last nite, so I did not get to watch I’m not sure what went south on them. But they are not that good of team this year. They are lucky they are not 1-4 in conference. Timme and Hickman are big liabilities on defense. I also think on certain nites they will be beaten badly on the glass. Top to bottom it might be the best roster they have had. But they don’t play well together.

35 years since LMU has beaten the zags at home. Thanks Galaxy for that $1 bet

it's funny, you lose a bet decisively (i stopped watching the Giants game after the 1st quarter and went out) and you quadruple guess yourself on the next one. i said all week that I think Buffalo is going to win, but this is what i ultimately decided on...

and I also said that I think at least one roadie is going to win outright this weekend. didn't happen yesterday, so just in case both pull it off today...

Thanks bud, I honestly had no clue which way the Buffalo/Cincy game was going to go, I threw a 20.at it with Cincy 5.5 and the under which hit for $70 but I quickly ran that into memories with some squares and first TD props for the Dallas/SF game but I had Ayuik at +1200 for a $20 play and actually came somewhat close but lost it all so I made about $320 for the weekend

I reckon I'm still down close to $1200 for the season but I will take a little back.

I might go stupid heavy on Cincy +100 ML not sure

that one was a winner. I was steaming about the C's game, so I immediately looked to see if there were any other games scheduled. I noticed that the Grizzlies-Kings game had swung 4 points in favor of Sacramento (due to Morant not playing), so I decided to swim with the sharks

who are you feeling this weekend? my gut says to ride the two best teams I saw play last weekend (Cincy and Philly)
