Similar happened to me....
At one point I saw that I had exceeded the HHL...
Then I went and checked my e-mail and saw that I had rcvd an e-mail confirmation 15+ mins. earlier!
Now THERE is 15 mins of my life I'll never get back!!! Hahaha!!! LOL!!!
I see many checked out easily, but it took until the last minutes to get one (two?) in.
I had all the usual errors, then the mystery "Unexpected Error" pop up, a couple of prove you are human, for about 2.5 hours.
this one was bad, and on top of it, the system double ordered me. I'm going to hold my breath cancel one. pray it does not further screw up and cancel everything.

It does no good...
The US Mint is made up of bureaucrats who have a nice safe gov't job....and are getting 5% matching in their TSP funds.
They live in the DC area getting $125k+ salaries, living in homes that cost $750k+, their kids go to the best schools in the country (as far as academics), etc...
They don't really care about customers nor will anyone in those jobs rock the boat to bring about change...
They will happily use our tax dollars though...to hire more DC swamp over-priced consultants that will tell them how to improve their efficiency (but remember, the consultants only care about milking that puppy (US Mint) for as long as possible...not a quick fix)...

It took me 1 hr 3 minutes but I finally got it processed from my cart. A friend's took even longer.
I am really about done with this crap. I won't pay secondary market prices for these contrived collectables and I am not sure how much longer I will play the game on issue date.
And here I was panicking at 947 PST that there was no way there would be any still available as I went thru all the bad gateway, bad handshake or whatever lol. Life is strange some days.

I place multiple orders until it sells out. You are looking at it wrong. Just because you got lucky on the V75 doesn't translate. This was FAR worse for site crashes etc as my 3 devices can attest. Normally, I can get 4 or 5 orders even in a 15 minute sell out. It took me 90 minutes to get those same orders placed today despite being on an ultrafast industrial server. Because I'm placing multiple orders, even if the first one gets through fast I get to see all the chaos.

I had similar experience as you, but my 2nd order did not go through and prompted "HHL exceeded...".
I called The Mint customer service and was on hold hot thirty minutes. Talked for six minutes…..second phantom order cancelled on the spot.
