There are so many ways for a purchase to fail in the buying process; it's just incredibly poorly thought out. Selecting an on-file credit card requires a postback to the overloaded web server. You then have to enter the idiotic credit card verification code (which I remembered wrong about four or five times
). Then there is an order verification which requires a postback. Finally, you have to check the confirmation checkbox before clicking the Place Order button. If there's any sort of mistake, the web site craps out and you have to start the order placement process all over again. Contrast this with Amazon's One-Click ordering.That said, I did manage to get my order for two coins. Maybe I should have bought two of each because based on traffic, there seems to be high interest for these Morgan dollars.

Took me forever...okay 20 minutes, 200 bad gateways and 2000 refreshes...but I think I got all the orders in.

Looks like maybe I got one of each, 22 minutes if bad gateway errors and other errors, it signed me out, dropped my credit card, made me reset, I never saw a completed order screen in the mint website, it went to error "page can't be found" but did get an email confirmation of my order.

Was anyone else surprised to see the June availability date? That changes the calculation on these as you may not have to wait 5 months for delivery.

On the fence about ordering these and fate dealt the blow...got them in cart but many tries and crashes to check out resulted in "no longer available"....I guess that works out fine...

Got 2 of each, two separate orders. Grabbed O mint and my brother to grab CC mint, he was having issues, so I got the CC mint coins just in time. Lasted about as long as I would have figured.

Had them in my bag early on but now sold out, frustrating yes, but I'll dust myself off and look forward to more misery on June 1st. No complaints from me, knew it was going to be tough to acquire one, will have to rely on the secondary market for the CC and O...
